...I've found the phone number for my optician and I've got my eye on a few frames that are within my price range, so when I've got the new prescription, I'll get it put into the new frames instead of my current ones.
I might ask about taking previous frames that have been sitting around for aaaages and I haven't used so that they can be re-used/re-sold or donated to people who can't afford the frames as well as their lenses. No guarantee that that's possible, but it won't hurt to ask, right?
I've gotta remember to ask about getting spare screws to go into the glasses now that I've got two repair kits without any screws in them so that I don't have to rely on my in-laws to get the screws put in again.
