Today's lunch couldn't have been simpler and was done well within the 10 minutes of cooking that I'm allowed after my carer's have signed in and put their PPE on and allowed for 5 minutes at the end to take it all back off again and sign out, so the instant soup will, unfortunately, be a regular meal for me so that I don't make my carer late for their next client.
I had a mug of instant tomato soup and a Quorn vegetarian chicken fillet (that was left over from yesterday's Sunday lunch with my in-laws) for lunch today then scoffed 5 treat-sized bars of chocolate too, so that I can increase my calorie count for today. I'm still 194 calories short, so I'll have another couple of drinking chocolates this afternoon to just about take me into the red. It seems like 4 drinking chocolates and about 10 treat-sized bars of chocolate is gonna be a daily thing for me so that I can rapidly increase my weight now that I seemingly only have 10 minutes of care at lunchtime after allowing for the carer to put on and take off their PPE.
I guess I just need to find instant things to make instead of proper meals. MugShots are another rapid meal that I can stock up on and getting 4 cartons of treat-sized chocolates a week and 4 drinking chocolates every day will be the way to get the other 1000 calories into me. Far from healthy, but the only way I can work it with only 10 minutes of lunchtime care 🤷
Here's today's lunch photo:
