Today's (19th January 2024) to-do list

  • Drink glass of water
  • Take morning pills
  • Run daily virus scan
  • Take bread out of the freezer for my breakfast this morning
  • Ask carer to post letter
  • Print off letters
  • Get envelopes
  • Put letters into envelopes
  • Post letters through neighbours doors
  • Turn on air purifier 
  • Make drink for carer - she didn't want one so made her notes and changed the language on her phone to French instead
  • Get kitchen tap sorted
  • Get bathroom refitted - it started about half an hour ago <gulp> - literally everything except the toilet has been ripped out and apparently he needs to get an electrician in for a couple of things, but there's no going back now! <gulp>  lol - he's just arrived and apparently an electrician is coming out "to assess everything that needs doing tomorrow early evening" and I think he said that the electrician "would then come out on Thursday (or was it Friday??) to crack on with it all" - he came out for the assessment last night and is coming out to do it all later on this morning - the electrician has been and gone and is coming back for a couple of hours on Sunday to finish up the last bits before the major work of getting everything installed finally starts on Monday - the flooring is going in today, apparently
  • Have breakfast
  • Put photo of breakfast on here and Instagram
  • Get electrics sorted in the bathroom - he's coming to finish off on Sunday but he needs to get more information off the plumber first
  • Get the waste disposal unit sorted in the kitchen - he needs to get another outlet put in behind the washing machine so that it can be done then that's sorted too which is another job for Sunday apparently
  • Get bathroom flooring laid
  • Do morning laps
  • Give out of date food to Freegler
  • Keep an eye on Freegle to see if anyone wants anything 
  • Give game to Freegler
  • Do the news
  • Keep working on memorial site
  • Have lunch
  • Log lunch into FitBit app
  • Put photo of my lunch up on here and Instagram
  • Take lunchtime pill
  • Do afternoon laps
  • Read and review a book on my TBR pile
  • Study my courses
  • Take evening pills
  • Go to bed
