If you've read any of my other recent book reviews, you'll already know that I start them all off in the same way, which is by saying that each book starts off with the full 5 stars and that I'm always hopeful they will all still be firmly in place by the time I close the back cover. You'll also know that I don't just knock stars off for no reason but that I always give my reason within the review and this book is no different.
Let's get going with the reading and reviewing shall we?
I've just finished the epilogue and first chapter at 6% of the way through, so these are gonna be looooong chapters which I'll have to remember at bedtime(s).

There have been several mentions of things that even I, as a non-American, know are highly likely to be Trademarked, so the first star is coming off after 2 chapters. I know that each chapter takes about 40 minutes to read now though, so I'll hopefully manage to get several more read and reviewed before bedtime tonight.
I've just finished chapter 3 in about 20 minutes, so maybe the chapters are a variety of lengths??
Chapter 4 was both heart-wrenching and heart-warming at the same time. Don't worry, no spoilers if I can get away with it!
Chapter 7 and 25% seems like a good place to stop for today. It's already a "shoulda been 5 stars" book and I hope that I don't need to take any more off tomorrow.
No spoilers, but chapter 8 made me cringe and smile slightly, which is more proof of how good this book is because it so rarely happens.
Chapter 9 has got my heart fluttering.
I'll only comment on chapters that I feel something significant about now, before this review turns into a book on its own!
Up to chapter 18 at 51% now and it's time for my tea.
Chapter 22 and 60% seems like a good place to stop for the evening again. There's 40% left to read and review then that's this book finished. I don't usually read over 3 days because of my significant memory problems, but this book is written in such a reassuring way that while I may not remember the details, I can remember enough of what I previously read to be able to quickly get back into it.
The author handled that chapter sooo well! It could easily have been borderline pornographic, but it wasn't at all... steamy, yes, but not pornographic.
Up to chapter 30 at 75% and I'm swooning again... maybe Lo's vision was wrong after all?
Chapter 35 and 83% seems like a good place to stop for lunch and ponder on whether Lo has made the right choice for her.
Woah! Chapter 35 came out of nowhere! There's only 16% left so I'd love to see the author write their way out of this!
In two chapters, the author has managed to tie up several lose threads and while I haven't got the melting heart feeling in my chest, they are starting to stitch it all into place now... just waiting to see what happens with Lo and...
Chapter 38 has got me on the verge of tears, but I can't cry because my groceries are due in 2 hours lol
What. An. Ending!!
Definitely should have been 5 stars if it hadn't been for all of those dratted trademarks throughout it, but I've gotta be fair to the previous authors that I've read and make it a very very solid 4 stars.
