...the care review done and she's taken lots of notes, is going to speak to the manager of the care company hopefully today to let them know what the carers are really like and how much they don't help me. She's going to contact Occupational Therapy about getting more equipment to make things easier for me and hopefully email her report to me this afternoon so that I can see everything she's said.
Apparently the carers using their phones is a common complaint across the agencies that the council use but she's going to talk to the care agency's manager about it and saying that the carers should stay in the same room as me instead of just sitting and socialising like they are atm. The 30 minutes is the minimum that any agency use, so I'll hopefully start to be able to have things made in the air fryer instead of just instant soups soon... that'll be a shock to my stomach lol She's also going to put in my care plan that the carers need to help me around the house too.
I'm guessing that the agency and carers won't be happy with what I've said this morning, but I'm fed up of paying top whack for them to sit and use their phones instead of doing their job while they are here.
I've just emailed her and offered to send her the spreadsheet I've been keeping too so that they've all got an accurate record of what I've said.
They won't like it but I don't care any more!
