First update to today's to-do list

  • Take Visible reading - 3 out of 5 again today, which seems to be normal for me now
  • Use blood pressure machine
  • Put details onto spreadsheet
  • Put BP machine away
  • Drink glass of water
  • Take morning pills
  • Run daily virus scan - it found an advanced issue which is now resolved
  • Come up with a tag line for my memoir - I've potentially come up with one at last
  • Study at least one course
  • Listen to podcasts
  • Listen to playlists
  • Turn on air purifier
  • Read and review a book
  • Check forum
  • Announce birthdays if necessary
  • Get washed and dressed
  • Make breakfast of toast and juice
  • Take photo of breakfast
  • Put photo of breakfast on here and Instagram
  • Refill bottle with squash
  • Box up recycling
  • Take recycling outside
  • Knot food waste bag
  • Put food waste into caddy
  • Take caddy outside
  • Take blue bag outside
  • Empty living room bin

Today's (1st February 2026) breakfast photo

Today's breakfast was ever so slightly different and will be for the next four breakfasts because as well as the 2 slices of wholemeal 'Toastie' toast and approx 20g of 'Buttery' spread, I also had a 330ml bottle of a pre-bottled Tropical Juice.  The best before date on it was 26th January, so I'm guessing it's the same for the other 4 bottles that I bought at the same time too, so they will be my next four breadfasts either with or without toast.

Mornin' all

For any fellow Pagans out there, I'd like to wish you a Blessed Imbolc today and stay safe tonight.


I've taken my Visible (3 out of 5) and blood pressure (normal for me but still low) readings, popped my morning pills, got washed and changed, had my breakfast, washed up, taken the rubbish and recycling outside, run the daily virus scan which found another Advanced Issue and sent January's health report to myself.  I still need to refill the bottle with squash, put my breakfast photo up and put the health report on my health site - you watch me forget lol


Time to get today's to-do list together now I reckon, then reward myself with an early morning mug of drinking chocolate.
