...definitely pulled the switch in the bathroom 'cos I had to use 3 litres of cold water from the kitchen to take the water temperature down from boiling to too hot lol
Can someone remind me to just turn the emersion heater on for 45 minutes next week and potentially 30 minutes the week after please? It'll need to be on for the full hour in colder weather, but when it's already blisteringly hot outside just having 15/30 less minutes to heat up in will potentially be enough not to burn myself and it'll save on the electric too. I might turn the emersion heater off literally just before I'm about to run the bath first so that it's not on needlessly for the best part of an extra hour. It's just little tweaks here and there now.
