Can you get food poisoning from barely tepid baked beans?
I'm feeling sick now because my carer barely introduced the beans to the heat before dishing them up! My bathroom is maybe 10 steps away from the cooker and by the time I'd pulled my trousers down and sat on the seat, I could hear my carer dishing up and starting to wash up, so I dunno if my current nausea is psychosomatic or if my body is already preparing to reject the food! It took me longer to shovel the bowlful of beans into my gob, chew and swallow than the beans were actually on the heat for!
She was one of the carers who are more interested in their phones (she was texting someone rather than playing a game 'cos I heard her phone ping twice in the three minutes I was in the bathroom) than actually doing her job.
I really hope she isn't driving 'cos she was texting someone when I answered the door to her and was still texting after she'd signed in, then walked through the hall still texting someone on her way out.
