The plumber has just arrived again, literally 5 minutes before my groceries, and he's arranged for an electrician to come out to assess everything tomorrow early evening then crack on with it on either Thursday or Friday.
He's doing the stop tap moving today by the looks of things 'cos there's all kinds of loooong copper piping coming in and out of the house and he's scraping off all the old brickwork (or whatever it is) so that it's ready for the tiling but things are steaming ahead now and I'm hoping that I'll be able to see some things going in by the weekend... the new bathroom is slowly getting there and it'll all be worth it when it's done!
