House and friendship are both on the market - Amanda's comment: read the middle section of this page of advice too - the one from "Quiet" and I'll try and remember to use that advice especially with one friend who only seems to contact me when they need to vent about something or talk about whatever is on their mind at that time... it's been two days since I heard from one particular friend and I bet that their next contact will be a rant about something that's going on in their life... same as always. I get maybe two sentences of support at the best of times before they decide that they've supported me enough and it's their turn again then - usually within the same message.
