...you say to yourself if Loki is one of/your only Deity lol
I was in the bathroom and I thought to myself "I bet both deliveries will come at the same time as my carer" then chuckled to myself and shook my head.
I'd just dried my hands when the doorbell rang.
It was the first delivery.
I brought it in, put it on the kitchen floor, got the scissors and opened the box.
The doorbell rang again.
It was the second delivery.
It was too heavy for me to lift, so I hauled it into the house as best I could, closed the front door and opened the box.
The doorbell rang again.
It was my carer.
She came in, signed in and came to sit down while I made my lunch.
I chuckled, shook my head and thanked Loki and it felt like He was laughing His head off full of glee.
I drank my lunch, washed up and put the first delivery away.
Tried to work out where to put the drinks in the second delivery.
I eventually managed to work out where the bottles were gonna go and opened the first multipack of them and took them through to the kitchen, two at a time.
I managed to cram the first pack in and decided to attempt to put the second pack of drinks on top.
I'd got 20 of the 24 bottles in place, but must have breathed wrongly because Loki made the most recent six fall off the pile and onto the floor.
I asked Loki if it was His doing and He gave me a hug, so I asked Him to help me to arrange the rest of the bottles so that I didn't collapse onto the floor, which He did.
I'm now thoroughly exhausted, but all my deliveries have arrived for today, so I can hopefully go to bed bang on time tonight and sleep soundly ready for the next two deliveries to arrive at some point before Wednesday.
Be careful, not just for what you wish for, but what you say to yourself too - Loki is looking for every opportunity to cause mayhem lol
