Well, I had a bit of a panic when I checked my FitBit before crawling into bed - it only had 65% charge left which is my usual charging cut-off that I *must* charge it up. I was too knackered to come back down here and sit around for an hour getting more and more tired so I decided to risk it and put a reminder in my phone to charge it up as soon as I came downstairs this morning, which is what I've just done.
It's thankfully recorded my sleep and steps so that's a huge relief, but it's getting some juice now, while I wait for my morning carer.
I've just put in my next grocery order and my FitBit is already at 97% charge, so it's done 34% in the time it's taken me to swallow my 6 morning pills (including the gummy which I very nearly forgot) and drink my first hot drink of the day which is reassuring. From the look of the screen there's been an update to it too, so I'm even more glad that I waited until this morning now! The update used up 6% of the battery, so it's back down to 91% charge now, but that's OK 'cos at least it's being done now.
The central heating is definitely doing what it should be doing now 'cos it was on when I came down at 4.50am and it turned itself off at 5.30am, so that's reassuring.
The daily virus scan was still reassuringly clear and I've remembered to turn my VPN back on now that I've been able to access all my tabs... I forgot yesterday though 😏
This blog post is waaay too long so I'm gonna publish it and put up today's to-do list before my carer arrives. Out of the hour that I'll be charged for yesterday, I received about 2 minutes of actual care yesterday when my carer washed up the mug, breadboard and knife 🤷
