I think I've potentially worked out why the electricity usage is through the roof... it's not the central heating like I wrongly assumed, it's because of the DHW temperature still heating up after yesterday's bath. It was set to 50℃ which was waaaay too hot yesterday, so I've turned it down to 45℃ which will hopefully make the water that bit cooler and with any luck save me a bit of money too.
Everything else is back to "Manual" now, so hopefully that'll be all that needs to be done to still keep me nice and warm with hot water but without my energy price going through the roof.
