New year, new book to read and review.
Like last year, I'm starting this review off by saying that every book I read and review starts off with the full surgery-load of 5 stars and I'm always hopeful that they will all still be firmly stuck in place by the time I close the back cover. If you've read my other book reviews from last year, you'll already know that I'm not shy about removing stars if I feel it necessary, but I always give my reasons for doing so within the review - they don't just vanish.
I've read the previous 4 books in this series and I really enjoyed them so I'm sad to see that the series has come to an end with this book. I'll savour every word of this book and miss the author's authenticity and humour by the time I've finished this book.
Let's get going with the reading and reviewing shall we?
The first chapter/section is veeeery long (41 pages so far) but I'm really enjoying it so far.
The first chapter ended up being 47 pages long but kept me reading the whole way through... it might have been better to shorten it for each patient though ;-)
I'm steaming through this book! It said, before I started reading, that the average reading time was less than 4 hours but it' been much more than that for me and I've really enjoyed it so far. There are only 47 pages left to read and I'll miss this author and series when I've finished reading this book!
What a great way to end the book and series by this author... worth every one of those 5 stars!
