I've just done my second and last set of laps of the day and I'm seriously regretting it now.
I should have been sensible and assumed the worst rather than the best and I definitely shouldn't have done them so soon after making my lunch then doing the washing up!
I'm exhausted, in a great deal of pain (including the base of my left thumb for some bizarre reason), my head is totally crammed with cotton wool, my eyes have gone weird on me again so I have to use what little function is left in my brain to decode even the slightest of things like typing. This paragraph alone has taken me the best part of 10 minutes to type out!
I'm weak, feeble, my posture is totally gone to pot, and I can't remember how to climb the stairs or even what the bedroom looks like! Which way do I turn at the top of the stairs to get to my bedroom? What's in the other room? How do I even climb the stairs to find out??
I've been wobbling around all day and my legs and arms especially don't seem to be getting the messages from my brain about how to function let alone be useable!
I've already totally used up today's energy store so I dunno how I'm supposed to function for the next 5 hours before I crawl into bed somehow! Will I be sleeping on the sofa again tonight?
I'm still shivering and sniffing because I'm so cold and my two little fingers feel almost like they are made of ice!
My watch has finally finished charging up, so I'll try and remember to test my resting heart-rate and blood pressure when I've started to recover from doing this afternoon's laps.
Apparently there's a Windows update for my machine, so I'm gonna publish this loooong blog post and install it in plenty of time if it's another huge one... I certainly don't wanna be clambering into bed at almost 11pm again, like happened last time there was a big update!
