Within half an hour of coming downstairs, my mobile phone decided to completely screw up and no matter what I tried, nothing worked so I shelled out for a new one that's coming tomorrow.
Then I was too caught up in trying not to panic that I forgot to do my laps until lunchtime.
Literally 10 minutes before my lunchtime carer turned up, the plumber arrived and he was here for the best part of 4 hours and has only just left. He's fixed the taps in the bath but has totally taken the sink off the wall for safety reasons and has capped the water supply so I'll have to attempt to get washed at the kitchen sink for the next little while lol
He's given me a very rough guess at the cost of a total refit of literally everything except the toilet and I like the price he gave me, so as long as my siblings-in-law are happy too, I'll be getting half a new roof next week and potentially (as long as the quote isn't totally over what the guess was that the plumber gave me) a whole new bathroom before the end of August!
It's been a busy and expensive day today, but hopefully that'll be it for a while now.
I'm rewarding myself with a drinking choccie then I'm gonna attempt to hopefully get the printer sorted out. I've missed my lunchtime pill and my laps and I'm not gonna risk either of them so close to bed time, I'm just gonna relaaax with my drinking chocolate for a while before I attempt to fix the printer.
I've achieved so much this week so I think I deserve a rest and the opportunity to recover before the painting of the living room gets started tomorrow.
