If...

...you know for absolute certain that something is psychosomatic, is it wise to take or not take an OTC medicine for it please?

I've had a pain in my neck down to the back of my shoulder for weeks now, but only when I've been doing my laps so I thought I might've pulled a muscle or something like that.

As an experiment, I barely moved that arm on my laps and I was pretty much pain free.

To continue the experiment with this afternoon's laps, I barely moved my arm again, but several times I wondered where the pain had gone and within seconds it was back and this time it was the other side and the back of my entire neck too.

Stopped thinking about it and concentrated on not falling over and the pain disappeared again.

Wondered where the pain had disappeared to and it was back before I left that room.

I posted my lunch photo pain free, but as soon as I started writing this post, it came back.

Soooo, is it wise to take OTC painkillers to get rid of psychosomatic pain or would it be best not to please?
