I've just got the total I'll be rewarded for the second National Grid thing I did.
The minimum target was saving 20% again and the result says that I saved 61% the second time and they are rewarding me with a grand total of...
drum roll please...
£0.79.
Yep, 79p for saving well over half my usage and putting my health in danger.
Over the two sessions, I saved 101% of electricity and am being rewarded with a smidgen over £1 off my electricity bill.
Was it worth it?
To them - definitely.
To me - definitely not.
Unless the rewards significantly improve, I won't be doing it again - my health is worth more than £1!
