...it's officially finished and water-tight and safe and he's done something so that "the ridge tiles will never need to be done again" and they've "taken off all the tiles that were up there and replaced them with proper roof tiles now, my love".
Apparently they've got photos and videos to send me so as soon as I've got those and the invoice, I'll resize them and add them on here. He said yesterday afternoon and at lunchtime today that "it's a right mess up there" so I'm glad I've got it done and I'm keeping my fingers firmly crossed that it'll be worth every penny for many years to come.
I dunno why, but I'm on the verge of tears now - relief maybe?
