I've just read on SCBWI that Pushkin had almost 400 manuscripts to read through by yesterday evening so I reckon they must have had around 500 by the time they closed the open submission window so it'll be months before they finish reading through all those!
I'm going to work on finishing the sci-fi novella then start querying agents to see if anyone wants to take me on.
