Today (18th March 2025) I'm grateful for...

...being firm with myself every time chocolate has called out to me, pleading with me to eat/drink it.


I'm also grateful for being able to get through about 40% of the book today and it's provided lots of pointers about things that I hadn't even considered for my manuscript.


As if that wasn't enough, I'm grateful that I've been able to resist snacking as well as the chocolate today.  I've only consumed 188 calories today, so I'm 1,368 below where I should be, but it means that I can pig out on chocolate and crisps tomorrow and I'll be able to have as many hot chocolates as I want.  I've got enough bread to have toast in the morning too, so that's another thing to be grateful for.
