Mornin' all
It's a good job I got the squeezy honey with my groceries yesterday 'cos my cold is really starting to take hold now. My 9 morning pills were a bit of trouble to get down my throat so I think this cold is gonna mainly be in my throat... oh joy.
I remembered to kick the weekly virus scan off this morning and it's already done 37% so that's a relief.
I'm expecting two deliveries between today and Saturday so hopefully they will turn up at a reasonable time and not while I'm naked or in the bath on Saturday.
Time to get today's to-do list together now methinks.

After a frustrating and worrisome start to the day, I managed to get caught up by just after lunch and I feel like I've achieved a pretty decent amount today, so I've popped my last two pills of the day and I'm heading on up to beddy-byes now, in preparation for an early start again tomorrow when I've gotta remember to do the weekly scan instead of the daily one.

Tomorrow (Wednesday) I've gotta remember...
...that it's the weekly virus scan and backups so no opening my email programmes until it's over and done with for another week.
Today's positive is...
...blimmin' huge for me so I'm gonna blow my own trumpet loud and proud.
I've not only booked my first grocery slot of 2025 but I've sorted out huge technology issues this morning and caught up with everything that was pushed back because of it, put together and uploaded last week's FitBit image, brought my groceries in and put them away, coded 2025's FitBit page and I've just sorted out my repeat prescription issue too.
Considering I didn't want to get out of bed this morning I've achieved a huge amount of stuff today and I'm gonna reward myself with a steaming hot, very creamy decaff mocha 'cos I definitely deserve it!

Today's (3rd December 2024) breakfast and lunch photos
I've been run off my feet today because my internet connection died on me by the time my carer had left so I had to spend the morning fixing that, which left just about enough time to go for a wee before my lunchtime carer arrived.
Breakfast was just my usual two slices of wholemeal 'Toastie' toast and 'Buttery' spread with a freshly decanted 250ml bottle of apple and mango juice.
Lunch was a mug of instant Vegetable Cup soup and my groceries could turn up at any second even though they're not due until 3.30pm!

Woops!
I've been awake for two and a half hours but have only just remembered to make this first blog post of the day!
I didn't want to get out of bed again this morning but since dragging myself downstairs I've taken my first blood pressure reading of the day, popped my 10 Tuesday morning pills, run the daily virus scan, fiddled around with some settings and attempted to send a very large document to someone but I haven't got a clue if it's worked yet!
Gotta remember to phone my doc surgery to chase up my repeat request that I put in on 20th November and it hasn't been processed yet!
Gotta remember to clear my browser caches too! And bring my groceries in!
This blog post is getting a bit long so I'm gonna publish it and hopefully get my day's to-do list together before my morning carer arrives.

I've popped my last two pills of the day and the side effects are kicking in already so I'm gonna head on up to beddy-byes now. Gotta remember to phone my doctors surgery tomorrow so that I can chase up my last two pills that I originally ordered on 20th November and I'll run out on 6th January! I've got my groceries due tomorrow too so it's gonna be a busy day - another reason to have an early night tonight!

Today's lunch was leftovers from yesterday's roast with my in-laws and consisted of 2 servings of a vegan family roast, 3 hassleback roast potatoes roasted in vegetable oil, broccoli and runner beans with a 500ml glass of water to wash it all down with. Mornin' all
Urgh.
I've woken up to be greeted with an urgent dash to the bathroom and explosive diarrhoea, so I won't be eating breakfast this morning and I've weighed myself and I'm still 300g into the safe zone, but won't be doing my laps until my bottom is better.
My morning pills have been popped and I've got a creamy hot choccie on the go to keep my calories up and to be sure that I don't get dehydrated.
The daily virus scan was, thankfully, still clear, so I'm good to go for the day now.
Gotta remember to ask my lunchtime carer to help me to change the bedding for the first time in 5 weeks as well as potentially having my delivery arriving today too, all in amongst rapid bathroom visits lol Gotta bring my rubbish and recycling containers back in too.
This blog post is getting on the long side so I'm gonna publish it and get today's to-do list together in between bathroom visits.

Nite nite orl
It's been a looong, exhaustapayting week this week, so next week I'm planning on doing not much more than sitting on my arse doing nothing but sipping creamy hot chocolates all day and if I'm too wiped out to do my laps then so be it!
I've popped my last two pills of the week so I'm heading on up to beddy-byes.

Today's good thing
If you've read my most recent book review, you'll already know that I'm aiming to find one good thing, no matter how small, to show gratitude for every day.
Yesterday's good thing was that I didn't drown when I had my weekly bath which is always a positive thing to accomplish, but today's is a huge deal for me but might feel negligible for some of you...
...I repaired a pair of elasticated waistband trousers for the first time in my entire life!!!
Like I said, it may be miniscule to many/most of you but it's a huge deal for me!
I managed most of the repair myself on Friday, but with my fantastic MILs guidance this afternoon, I finished the job off entirely by myself!!
I'm so so SO very proud of myself right now and I'll fall into bed tonight with a huge grin on my face.

Mornin' all
Well today is the first day of my carers being back and I'm soo nervous that I will wobble or even fall while they are using their phones!
I've already taken my blood pressure, popped my morning pills and had my breakfast and run the daily virus scan, so I'm all set for this morning now. Gotta remember to take the rubbish and recycling out today too... you watch me forget though lol I've got a delivery due either tomorrow or Tuesday too, so it'll be all go next week!
Gonna keep this reasonably short (compared to some) so that I can hopefully get today's to-do list up before my first carer of December arrives.
