Nite nite orl

There are 5 bananas in the fridge which give me a boost of energy, but should I have them pre-exercising to give me an energy boost or after I've finished to help me to recover please?

I've had a busy, exhausting, painful, forgetful, semi-stressful day today so I've taken my last two pills of the week and I'm heading to bed.

I'll see you all in the morning.

Mornin' all

I've woken up after over 8 hours of sleep so why do I feel like I haven't slept at all??

I've been for 3 wee's, taken my morning visible reading, taken my blood pressure, popped my morning pills, run the virus scan and had my breakfast so far.

Gotta remember to box up the recycling, put my blood pressure photos onto my health site and there was something else too, but I can't remember what it was!  Oh yeah, I've gotta refill my dosette box after lunch.  Gotta order more caffeine-free cola too.

I'm pondering on having another day off from the laps and sit-ups 'cos my legs really aren't feeling too good this morning.

It's vegetarian spag bol for lunch today so there prolly won't be any leftovers so I'll finish off the hummus tomorrow and let my carers decide whether I should have a packet of crisps or mug of drinking chocolate for my lunch each day from Tuesday onwards.

The virus scan found an advanced issue, so I'll resolve that after I've put today's to-do list together.

Nite nite orl

It's been a busy ole day today and I'm still recovering from the night before last night, so I'm gonna head straight on up to beddy-byes now that I've taken my pills.

Gotta remember to put the recycling out tomorrow and put my keys on so that I don't get locked out too!

I'll see you all in the morning.

Today's (30th August 2025) lunch photo

Today's lunch was the same as it has been since Tuesday - a single serving pot of reduced fat houmous and a packet of Hummus Chips.  I've got one pot left which I'll have on Monday, then it'll be hot chocolates for each lunch starting on Tuesday for the rest of this year and the start of 2026 until the weather heats up a bit more.

Today's (30th August 2025) breakfast photo

I actually had a solid breakfast today, for the first time in 8 days so hopefully there won't be much/any snacking today.

Breakfast was 2 slices of wholemeal 'Toastie' toast and 'Buttery' spread with a 300ml bottle of 'Multivitamin Multifruit' juice.

Here's today's breakfast photo:

Mornin' all

I've woken up after 9 hours and 27 minutes of sleep according to my FitBit so I'm hopefully back on track again now.

Bath-time is at 5.30am 'cos I remembered to pull the water heating switch on when I went for my first wee of the day at 4.26am.

My blood pressure was low-normal for me and I threw one of my tablets up pretty much as soon as I swallowed it so I swallowed it again.  Thankfully I only threw up the water that I've had since lunchtime yesterday, so that's a relief.

The daily virus scan was still reassuringly clear and I've gotta remember to charge up my Visible while I'm in the bath and my two FitBits after breakfast, after I've got out of the bath, then do my laps and keep reading.

Time to get today's to-do list together now methinks.

Nite nite orl

It's been a very long, very exhausting day today so I've taken my pills and I'm heading on up to beddy-byes now.

I've gotta remember to pull the water heating switch in the bathroom, clamber into a hopefully gorgeously hot, lavendar-scented bubble bath and have breakfast for the first time in 8 days tomorrow.

I've also gotta remember to charge up both FitBit's, my watch and my Visible as well, 'cos they are all starting to get a bit low on juice again.

The side effects of my pills are starting to kick in so I'm heading on up to beddy-byes now.

I'll see you all in the morning.

Today's (29th August 2025) lunch photo

A bit earlier than normal but I wanted to make sure I'd taken the photo and put it up before my carer arrived.  There may or may not be a 500ml glass of water to go with the Tomato & Basil hummus chips and the single serving pot of reduced fat houmous but it will all depend on how much water is left in my current glass when my carer arrives.

Here's today's lunch photo:

Mornin' all

I decided against a sleepless night, so I've had 5 hours and 31 minutes of sleep and I'm a complete and utter mess this morning.

I've taken my blood pressure which was a touch low, popped my pills (which all went down surprisingly easily) and run the virus scan (which was clear) so that's me up for the next 14 hours now.

Time to put today's to-do list together for the first time today now methinks.

Thursday, 28 August 2025

Scratch that

I crawled into bed and I was wide awake the instant my head hit the pillow so I've been tossing and turning for the last hour and I've now, officially, given up on getting even a nanosecond of sleep tonight.

Gonna make use of the next 10 hours to read and review my next book.

Nite nite orl

I've got a blistering head/eye ache and I'm absolutely wiped out after waking up desperate for a wee at 3am so I've taken my last two pills of the day and I'm gonna head on up to beddy-byes now.

I'll see you all in the morning.

Today (28th August 2025) I'm grateful for...

...so much.

  1. My monthly virus scan was over and done with in under 3 hours, without needing to restart it.

  2. The care agency finally know how I feel about how much my carers support me.

  3. My sweets arrived and I've already eaten 200g of coconut mushrooms lol

  4. My peach teas have just been delivered two days early.

  5. I've got enough cash in my bank account to cover my standard monthly bills as well as the next 3 weeks of groceries without going overdrawn for the first time in a very long time.

  6. Yesterday's drinks where a real wake-up call to my tastebuds so I'm gonna see what the other flavours are like then it could be a regular order for me!

Aaaaaand...

...relax!

That's all my deliveries arrived and put away, so I can put my feet and relax and hopefully make a start on reading my next book starting tomorrow.  I can also soak for as long as I want in the bath on Saturday and spend all morning with my nose in the book too.  I haven't got anything happening until the weekend so I'm not planning on moving far from the sofa until lunchtime on Saturday after I've had a long soak in a gorgeously hot, lavendar-scented bubble bath to try and help me to unwind after the stressful week I've had.

I've got plenty of instant peach teas to keep me going for a while so they will hopefully help me to unwind too.

Thank you Gaia!

Mornin' all

I've been awake since 2am 'cos I was desperate for a wee after drinking minutes before I went to bed last night.

Remembered to start off the monthly scan at 4.29am then took my pills and I'm all ready for the day now.

Not sure if I'll have any breakfast or not this morning... I'm feeling a bit sick atm so dunno whether to risk it or not.

Time to get today's to-do list together now I reckon.

Nite nite orl

Why do I feel more cream-crackered after not exercising than I do when I do my laps and sit-ups?  Much bizarreness!

Gotta remember that it's the monthly virus scan tomorrow - hope I don't forget!

I've taken my last two pills of the day and I'm gonna crawl on up to beddy-byes now.

I'll see you all in the morning.

Nite nite orl

Today (27th August 2025) I'm grateful for...

...giving myself permission to have today off from the laps and sit-ups.  I think I really needed it and both my FitBit and Visible told me that I needed a break so that's exactly what I've done today.

I'm also grateful that my delivery turned up in time for me to put it away and recover before I took my pills and headed to bed.

As if that wasn't enough, I'm also grateful that I've caught up with the podcasts now, so I can spend tomorrow hopefully pacing myself a bit better.

I'm feeling like...

...having today off from the exercises and sit-ups has been just what I needed.

I've gone significantly over my calorie budget but I'm significantly under with my pace points.

My delivery has arrived and I've charged up my Inspire, my Visible is getting some juice and I'll aim to charge up my current FitBit either tonight or tomorrow.

It's been a long day and I'm swollen, wiped out, sore, stiff and generally feeling pretty bleh, but it's only an hour and a bit before I can crawl upstairs and into bed.  I'm not gonna overdo things tomorrow, but I'll try and remember to have a peach tea instead of choccie and Pringles that I couldn't resist this morning.  I've now got today's drinks (from the delivery) in the fridge so I'll be able to have those too.

I've just cleared my browser caches ready for tomorrow's monthly scan so that's another thing that I can cross off today's to-do list, so I'm gonna go and do that now before I forget lol

Today's (27th August 2025) lunch photo

Today's lunch was the same as it has been since Tuesday - a packet of 'Tomato and Basil hummus chips" scooped into a pot of 'Reduced Fat Houmous" and I had to get my finger in again lol  It was all washed down with a 500ml glass of water too.

Here's today's lunch photo:
