I've woken up stiff, sore, exhausted and swollen and I've already been for 3 wee's in the last 41 minutes so today is gonna be a bad bladder day I reckon.
My blood pressure was back down into my own personal reference range for the first time this week, my morning pills have been popped and an unofficial weigh-in says that I'm 2.8kg over where I want to be and I've put on 1.6kg since Monday, so I'm thinking that I need to change the battery at some point today.
I've made myself a cold & flu drink before remembering that I haven't got washed and changed yet, so I'll try and remember to do that when I've drunk it all.
The last virus scan of the week was still, reassuringly clear, so that's a relief.
This first blog post of the day is getting a bit long, so I'm gonna shut up now and get today's to-do list together.

I'm absolutely knackered so I'm heading off to beddy-byes now.
See you all in the morning.

...that I remember to box/bag up the recycling and rubbish and also put my key on!
My FitBit could prolly do with getting a bit of juice too.
It'll be all go tomorrow lol
...this morning's bath with the last of the product testing bath salts because they have very nearly cleared my cold up, so I'm hoping that I'll be able to sleep through the night tonight, without waking up unable to stop coughing or breathing through my nose. Will I not have a dry, sore throat tomorrow? I really hope so!
For my last meal today (and last photo of the week??) I'm having a mug of Minestrone Cup Soup.
Here's today's tea photo:
Kindle Audiobook Hardcover Paperback
Each and every book review has started off the same way for quite a while now and this book is no different. Each book starts off with the full 5 stars and I'm always hopeful that they will all still be stuck firmly in place by the time I close the back cover. I'm not shy about removing stars if I feel it necessary, but I always give my reason for taking each one off within the review - they don't just vanish.
The publisher approved my request to read and review this book and the biggest reason I'm looking forward to reading it is that I'm disabled in an able-ist environment so I'm hoping that this book and author will help me to feel seen at last.
I'm nodding along to everything in the first chapter so far - especially the inaccessible accessible pubs that had a ramp and wide doors... and customers standing at the top of the ramp, drinking, smoking and refusing to move.
I feel seen at last!! We have differences, the author and I, but there are many many more similarities too.
Up to 70% now and I've just soaked up the last 64% because the author is saying so much of what I've been feeling since the Summer of 1999!
I'm gonna stop reading for the day 'cos it's getting towards my bedtime and I want to stop my head from buzzing at being understood at last!
There have been quite a few mentions of trademarked things that I've let slip up to now, but in fairness to other books I've read and reviewed that contained potentially unauthorised mentions of trademarked/copyrighted things, a star has, unfortunately, gotta come off.
Wow! What an incredible book that this disabled woman is soooo thankful for! It's a book that everyone should read, whether you're disabled or not. There's a lot of uncomfortable truths - but the author has put them into words and put them out there for me, you and everyone to read and hopefully learn from.
Today's lunch was a yummy chocolatey affair - a 5-serving bar of chocolate and a 500ml glass of water.
Here's today's lunch photo:
Today's breakfast was my usual cool-weather breakfast of two slices of wholemeal 'Toastie' toast and 'Buttery' spread with a freshly-decanted first 250ml out of a new bottle of Tropical juice.
Here's today's breakfast photo:
I've woken up feeling completely rotten, but I remembered to pull the water heating switch on when I went for my first emergency wee of the day.
My blood pressure is still higher than it was pre-jabs, so maybe it's my new normal now?
I've popped my morning pills with my first glass of water of the day and set my Inspire to charge while I wait for my 4.40am bath. I'm charging up my Visible too and I'll plug in my Charge after my bath so that everything is fully charged up.
The daily virus scan was still reassuringly clear, so that's a positive.
Time to get today's to-do list together now I reckon.

It's been a long ole day today and I missed lunch because of the Olio-er and two deliveries as well as my laps so I'm absolutely cream-crackered.
I've popped my last two pills of the day and the side-effects are rapidly kicking in so I'm heading on up to beddy-byes.
I've gotta remember to pull the water heating switch in the bathroom ready for my bath.
I'll see you all in the morning.

Today's tea is a mug of Minestrone Cup Soup and it's waaaaay too hot for me lol
I'm hoping that I'll be able to have 3 meals a day tomorrow and Sunday, but we'll have to wait and see.
Here's today's tea photo:
Today's breakfast was a bit different to my normal cool weather breakfasts because there was barely any juice left, so I washed my two slices of wholemeal 'Toastie' toast and 'Buttery' spread down with a 500ml glass of water today. My OCD (that I was first diagnosed with back in the year 2000) is already badgering me to start drinking the juice again on Monday rather than tomorrow lol
Here's today's breakfast photo:
I've woken up stiff and sore with a stuffy, runny nose and I can't stop coughing so today is gonna be fun.
I've taken my Visible reading and got a score of 4 out of 5 even though I feel like it should be a 1 or 2.
I've also taken my blood pressure and it's still high for me but low in the medical range by about 10 points instead of my usual 20.
The monthly virus scan is zipping away and is already at 99% after less than an hour. It's just finished and "We didn't find any issues" so that's reassuring.
I've just got washed and changed so it's time for my breakfast now, then my laps, hopefully before my two deliveries arrive.

Changing the bedding this morning has completely screwed me up and my stomach is killing me so I've taken my pills bang on time and I'm struggling to keep my eyes open.
I'll see you all in the morning when I've gotta remember that it's the monthly virus scan and cleaning up the kitchen and mopping the floor while I wait for my new duvet and covers so it'll be another busy day tomorrow.
I'm debating on if it would be sensible to have a bath on Saturday - I definitely deserve it, but I don't want to risk falling asleep and drowning.
I'll see you all in the morning.
Nite nite orl
...right rollocking proud of myself this evening.
Why?
Because I changed the bedding this morning then caught up on most of my chores, had a hot choccie, did my laps, ordered the new duvet and covers, tried to put more of the duvet further down the cover, brought the last Christmas pressie delivery in and did my laps.
I'm well and truly done in now, but tomorrow is the new duvet and covers delivery and kitchen cleaning day, then Saturday is the bedrooms and a well-deserved hot bubble bath... I'll definitely need and deserve it this week lol
That does it... I'm getting a single duvet.
I've just tried to change my duvet cover and it took me 49 minutes just for the duvet and I'm not safe any more, so won't be able to eat anything today.
I'm fed up to the back teeth of struggling with it, so I'm not gonna take any more risks with it.
My morning pills have been popped and my stomach is messed up, so I'm just gonna sit and read all day today. I've got a delivery due today too of my last Christmas pressie then that's it then.
The daily virus scan was still reassuringly clear, so that's a positive.
Time to get today's to-do list together now I reckon.

It's been a loooong day today so I've popped my last two pills of the day and I'm heading on up to beddy-byes now.

...to do tomorrow's bedding change around the delivery. If it comes in the morning then I'll do it before I have my lunch, if it comes early afternoon then I'll do it straight after but if it doesn't come until late afternoon/early evening then I'll do it on Friday instead.
Today's tea was the last of the fruit loaf and a 500ml glass of water. It'll be soup for my tea from tomorrow onwards.
Here's today's tea photo:
Today's lunch was the first three Southern Fried Bites out of the bag, approx 10g of 'Vegan Mayo' and a 500ml glass of water.
Here's today's lunch photo:
...I've mostly stopped coughing and sneezing and can (just about) breathe through my nose again.
A simple hot honey drink has mostly cured the coldy grottiness I've been feeling for the last week or so.
I'll keep dosing myself up today but I'm hoping I'll be cold-free before the end of the week.
Today's breakfast was the last two slices of toast in the bag of wholemeal 'Toastie' bread and approx 20g of 'Buttery' spread, washed down with a 250ml bottle of Tropical juice.
Here's today's breakfast photo:
...virus scan and backups done and dusted for another week, so I can go and make myself breakfast after all.
