I've just had my lunch, made and then washed up entirely by me and my carer's only idea of support today was to wash up the knife and plate I use for my breakfast, which was fair enough, but she also washed the wooden breadboard up too, so I won't be able to have breakfast until it dries now, which usually takes 3-4 days so my entire calorie count each day between tomorrow and the middle of next week will be 77 calories from the mug of instant soup that I'm likely to be the one making again if yesterday and today are anything to go by.
Am I wrong in thinking that a carer's job is to make my life easier 'cos all today's carers have done is to make my life harder than it was before they arrived!
I will be charged for 4 hours of care so far this week but I've only received 37 minutes so far this week and it's only that much 'cos Tuesday's lunchtime carer changed the duvet for me so it was 13 minutes of care that day, but other than Monday morning it's been in the low single figures twice a day this week.
<sarcasm>My carer's are happy though, so that's alright</sarcasm>
