These are, quite frankly, a health hazard!
I asked my carer to put one in at the weekend to replace the one that had died assuming that it would actually work, what with it being brand new and never used before.
I turned the dimmer switch.
Nothing.
A bit more.
Still nothing.
Maybe I'd bought non-dimmable lightbulbs by mistake?
Whacked the dimmer switch up to full volume and the lightbulb started flickering quickly.
Maybe that was because it was new and needed to come up to temperature?
I was told a few years ago to avoid flickering lights so I turned it off so that I didn't risk my eyesight any more.
I tried again this morning and the same thing happened so I've given up now.
If you haven't been told you're photosensitive and to avoid flickering lights and you can put up with flickering constantly then you might rate these higher than me, but for me they are a health hazard and I've wasted over £20 (because I stupidly bought two boxes) on something that is unuseable and dangerous to my health.
