Gisdanchz Women's Woolen Visor Beret Newsboy Hat Cabbie Cap for Winter
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ out of 5
I decided to mark the 15 year anniversary of losing my father to cancer with getting my head shaved and donating my locks to a charity that makes real-hair wigs for children who have lost theirs through alopecia or chemo or whatever.
I've never had a bald head before but didn't fancy getting sunburnt so this was one of 3 hats that I bought to protect my newly bald head.
The hairdresser wasn't comfortable with shaving my head in case I burst into tears or changed my mind mid-way through, so the hairdresser cut my hair really short and my wonderful sister-in-law shaved it as short as she felt comfortable with.
I took this hat with me in case my SIL felt very brave with the razor, but there was still a good covering of hair on my head when she'd finished so I'll keep this for the autumn. It's a good hat that I can see will get a lot of use during the colder weather and it's kept my head nice and comfortable warm while I practised wearing it around the house pre-shave so I have every confidence that it'll stop me from getting pneumonia as the weather cools down even more.
If you've got thin hair or you just want to protect your head from sun/snow then you won't go far wrong with this!
