Mornin' all

How's everyone doing this morning?

Me?

I'm bitterly cold, exhausted, in a great deal of pain and my mood is through the floor, but as long as I'm there for everyone else, that's OK right?

I haven't taken my Iron for the last 7 days so I'm wondering if that's why I've been struggling so much?

I've had my morning pills with my morning glass of water, so I'm all set until lunchtime now.

I can't put the heating on today 'cos my carers will open the door as wide as possible and I've got my first visit with a physio assistant so she'll want the door open too then by the time she's gone it'll be pointless putting it on because the room will only be starting to heat up by the time I go to bed.  It'll be the same tomorrow 'cos of my groceries, Wednesday has the potential to be OK depending on when the foodbank come, Thursday I've got a medical appointment so won't be able to put the heating on then either, which takes us to Friday which is the other day that the foodbank might be coming.  Saturday I'll have my weekly bath so it's pointless putting it on then and Sunday is pointless, so I've potentially got a week of being bitterly cold ahead of me.

The daily virus scan found an advanced issue, so I'd best get it resolved.

This first post of the day is way too long so I'm gonna publish it and make a start on putting together the first to-do list of the week.

Nite nite orl

I've had a busy week this week and it's gonna be another busy one next week, starting tomorrow and I've only got Wednesday and Friday free next week, although one of those days will be taken up with my donation to the foodbank again.

I've popped my last two pills of the week so I'm gonna crawl into bed now.

For the last time this week, it's nite nite orl and I'll see you in the morning.

Product Review: Dole Peaches & Cre*m

First thought was that it needs to be bigger.

Second thought was that it's very sticky and almost jelly-like.

Third thought was that it smelt divine.

Fourth thought was "will the cream mess me up?"

I cautiously took my first tiny mouthful and it was absolutely incredible.  The freshness of the peaches was still very much there, they were soft, sticky and very moreish.

I cautiously took a sniff of the cre*m to see how my body would react - that's always the first test, to see if it's worth the risk.

I risked putting the tiniest bit right on the edge of my tongue... I'd know within seconds if I could keep eating it.

No reaction, so I risked licking the spoon.

So far so good.

Would I be able to get through an entire tub without an allergic reaction?

No, I got through two tubs and the only reaction was huuuge burps which could have been due to me not having had cream for over 2 decades.

I polished off the first tub and reached for a second before I could stop myself.

That went down in record time too and still no allergic reaction!

Have I found a me-friendly fruit-pot at long last??

I've put the other 2 pots in the fridge to see what they're like chilled, but I've potentially found a me-friendly, healthy fruit pot that I can chow down on when I need a sweet snack or reward!

Today's (26th November 2023) breakfast photo

My last breakfast of the week was the same as yesterday - 2 slices of wholemeal toast with dairy-free spread and a bottle of orange juice.

I'm bitterly cold 'cos I've just taken the rubbish and recycling outside, so I've just made myself a decaff mocha too, but there's no photo of that.
