I've had a busy day today and I'm really feeling it so I've taken my last two pills of the day and I'm heading off to beddy-byes now.
I'll see you all in the morning.

Nite nite orl.
My only meal today was 4 pots of gorgeously chocolatey soya desserts and a 500ml glass of water, which leaves plenty of room for hot choccies this afternoon lol
Here's today's lunch photo:
I hope I'm wrong, but it seems like today is gonna be a bad day for me, physically, 'cos I've already fallen over twice in the last half an hour, I'm swollen, sore, exhausted and just generally bleh.
I've remembered not to open my emails 'cos of the virus scan and I've plugged in my spam/scam phone to charge up so I've just gotta remember the Freeglers coming this afternoon now.
My morning pills have been popped and the first video of the day taken so I'm all ready to go now.
Time to put today's to-do list up while I wait for my morning carer now... will she do her job and support me (ie do what I'm paying for) or will she do like the vast majority of them and use her phone for the entire visit?
I've had a busy day today and I'm totally poopy-dooped so I'm gonna head straight on up to beddy-byes now that I've taken my last two pills of the day.
Tomorrow I've gotta remember that it's the weekly virus scan and backups so I can't open my emails until it's all done and dusted.
I've also gotta remember to charge up my spam/scam phone pretty urgently 'cos it's only got 24% of the battery left and it's too late to charge it up now, so I'll have to do it as soon as I come downstairs.
As if that wasn't enough, I've also got a couple of Freeglers coming over to pick up some things tomorrow too, so it'll be another busy day, but I'm hoping I'll be able to stick my nose into my Kindle until the backups start tomorrow, for the first time in too long.
I'll see you all hopefully bright and early in the morning.
Nite nite orl.
Another easy, quick and healthy lunch today which was the same as yesterday: 4 soya yoghurts (2 blueberry and 2 cherry) and a 500ml glass of water. That's the last of the yoghurts gone now, so tomorrow and Thursday it's chocolate mousse and a glass of water, then back to the instant soups on Friday.
Here's today's lunch photo:
Today's breakfast was another 2 slices of wholemeal 'Toastie' toast with dairy-free spread and a bottle of the substituted orange juice.
Here's today's breakfast photo:
I've woken up with an especially dry mouth which really didn't help with the pill-popping this morning, but all 10 are down the hatch without me retching, thankfully. Gonna try and remember to brush my tongue as well as my teeth this morning to see if that helps or not.
I've got a few more things to add to today's to-do list, judging by last night's last message of the day, so I'll go and have a peek and put it together now, before my carer arrives with any luck.
BBS
I'm absolutely poopey-dooped after such an active day today and tomorrow won't be much better 'cos of my groceries being delivered, so I've gotta remember to put the bags down by the door when I've finished my afternoon laps tomorrow, and possibly advertising more things on Freegle if I hear back from my SIL before my groceries arrive, but I'm not intending on moving far from the sofa tomorrow - it'll be a day with my nose in a book methinks.
I've popped my last two pills of the day so I'm gonna shut down and head straight on up to beddy-byes methinks.
I'll see you all in the morning.
Nite nite orl.
...the spreadsheet I started yesterday!
I can get 4 very creamy hot choccies out of a single canister of cream 'cos I've just squirted out the last of the cream that I started pretty much 24 hours ago and the spreadsheet is telling me that this is my fourth hot choccie with the cream from the same canister!
No wonder I needed so much cream on the grocery shopping each week lol
I think I'll give myself a bit of a break from the cream now 'cos I can feel it starting to become an addiction rather than a treat so I wanna cut it off before it gets out of control and just add up the drinking chocolates for a while.
Today's lunch couldn't have been simpler because it was just 4 soya yoghurt pots (2 blueberry and 2 cherry) and a 500ml glass of water. It's made my calorie count turn blue after my laps so I'll have to have waaaay too many creamy hot chocolates and choccie biccies to increase it back up to where it should be again - what a shame eh? 😉
Here's today's lunch photo:
For the sixth day on the trot I had wholemeal 'Toastie' toast with dairy-free spread and a 250ml bottle of 100% fruit smooth orange juice again this morning, then a me-friendly creamy vegan hot chocolate.
I've maintained my weight again this weigh-in for the third week on the trot, so maybe I've found the weight that my body is happy with and I'm providing it with everything it needs at last? It's only taken 2 decades if I have! lol
Here's today's breakfast photo:
Well, I've set the first daily virus scan going, popped my first 6 (9 if you include the quarters individually) pills with my first glass of water of the week, weighed myself (I'm 550g into the safe zone which is a relief) so that I didn't forget and means I can keep doing my laps and I've taken the first video of the week, so everything is OK so far.
I'd like to get my nose stuck in another book this week, but I'm not gonna force it otherwise I won't enjoy it or be able to relax into it.
Gotta remember to bring my recycling container back in when it has been emptied too.
Got a busy time after lunch 'cos a Freegler is coming to pick up 3 DVDs too, so I can't forget that!
The virus scan has just finished and was still, thankfully, clear, so I'm gonna publish this blog post and attempt to get my to-do list up and ready before my carer arrives... I wonder how helpful or otherwise they'll be this week?
I've had a truly exhausting week this week so I've taken my last two pills of the week bang on time and I'm heading off to beddy-byes now.
I'll see you all in the morning.
Nite nite orl.
TabTime Pill Cutter for Small Pills
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ out of 5
I have recently started taking a capsule sized and shaped OTC pill that I seriously struggled to take so I invested in a cheap, plastic one to see how I'd get on with it. It turned out to be one of the best investments I've made in a long time but the pill was a bit hard for the blade to cut through so it came apart every few cuts so I decided to invest in a non-plastic one and saw this.
I tried cutting my week's worth of the pill in this cutter and it was a total game-changer... I've now got the pill in quarters ready for every day next week and my blood pressure didn't raise even slightly through the whole process!
The one thing I would say is to not use it on light coloured pills when you're wearing dark clothes or put it onto anything dark between cuts 'cos any dust from the cut pill will empty out and make a right mess unless you've got hands that don't shake at all!
The swivelly top is an amazing idea added to an already incredible product because it keeps the dust from going everywhere the instant your pill is cut.
Basically if, like me, you struggle to swallow pills then get your debit card out and add this pill cutter to your basket straight away!
This is up there in my top 3 of must-have's along with my electricity smart meter and washer-drier.
I had my lunch at about 12.15pm then bedlum struck for a couple of hours, then sorting and taking out the recycling, then cutting up my pills ready for next week - this is the first opportunity I've had to breathe!!
Lunch today officially brought an end to my Summer 'cos it was the last 500ml carton of ice cream - salted caramel brownie-licious to be exact and it went down a treat. Back to instant soup for every lunch from now on though.
Here's today's lunch photo:
...relax.
The cabinets are up but the shelves need a drill which I didn't realise when I bought them, so my SIL is going to contact my BIL about getting hers back from him so that it can hopefully go up next week instead. Marie has brought down a big box with the rest of Steve's media in it for me to go through and put on Freegle if neither of my siblings-in-law want anything, but I completely forgot to ask her about the music DVD she might want, but I'll hopefully remember next weekend either when I take it with me or when Marie puts the shelves up for me.
I'm gonna spend the next 20 minutes recovering then give about 30 DVDs to someone from Freegle then I'll go through the box and sound out my siblings-in-law to see if they want anything then put what they don't want onto Freegle and get rid of a huge box ready to go to someone else on Freegle... little and often makes things seem more achievable and easier for me to handle... this time last month I'd barely made a dent in the spare room and now I can actually get in and see a tiny bit of the bed and the top of the drawers are completely clear which I did entirely alone, so I feel pretty proud of that.
The more progress I see, the more motivation I have so as soon as I've got the big box sorted I'll be able to move that into the kitchen and breathe for a little while.
I think my machine is starting to feel its age 'cos it's given me loads of techie troubles this morning and this is the first opportunity I've had to get the photo resized and this post made!
Breakfast was another 2 slices of wholemeal 'Toastie' toast with dairy-free spread and a 250ml bottle of substituted orange juice.
Here's today's breakfast photo:
I've been awake for 2 hours and downstairs for 1, doing battle with my laptop, so this is the first opportunity I've had to kick off my monthly virus scan and say hello to you all.
I've taken my 8 morning pills, with my morning glass of water, and only had to crunch up 1 of them this morning, so that's pretty good.
My last carer of the week could turn up at any time and I've gotta remember to contact the Olio-er as soon as I've had my breakfast so that they can come for their things. Gotta remember to take the rubbish and recycling out and hopefully read a book today. My SIL is coming over "after lunch" to put a couple of things up for me so I bet the Olio-er will turn up while she's here! lol
This blog post is getting long, so I'm gonna publish it and attempt to get today's to-do list together and up before my final carer of the week arrives.
BBS (I hope).
I'm absolutely shattered so I've taken my last two pills of the day pretty much bang on time and even my eyelashes are hurting so I'm gonna head straight off to beddy-byes now.
I'll see you all in the morning.
