Mornin' all

I had a very late morning by comparison this morning 'cos I didn't wake up until after 5.15am and I've usually been awake for almost an hour by that point!


The central heating still hasn't come on, so it's a task for tomorrow to email Broad Oak again if things haven't kicked in by this time tomorrow.


The solar panels have produced £83.38 of power so far, so that's my first energy bill paid for already and anything else is a bonus now.


I've popped my morning pills and the daily virus scan is chugging away but I'm really cold so there will be loads of hot drinks again today.


Time to publish this and put my day's to-do list together before my first carer of the day arrives now, methinks.

Nitey nite nite nite nite nite

I'm heading to bed with the feeling of a huge weight crumbling off my shoulders again.


Hopefully my central heating will have settled and turned on by this time tomorrow, but if not I'll just pop an email to Broad Oak about it again... it was something in the installer settings that I'm steering well clear of 'cos I'm not the installer, just the user and I was told I only needed to change the temperature according to what I wanted so I'm steering well clear of it in case I screw it all up!


I've popped my last two pills of the day, so when I've added the liquid to the log, I'll be able to go to bed with a smile on my face.

Fifth and final update to today's to-do list

  • Get washed and dressed with my carer

  • Find more Pagany things
  • Read and review a book on my TBR pile

My solar panels are...

...amazing!


They produce about £11 of electric every day and I'll be billed separately so I'll still have to pay my electricity bill, just like I always have, but I'll be getting paid about £300 a month just from them so that was a lovely little surprise and means that when everything is settled and I'm used to the difference in cost and know roughly how much I'll be getting from the solar panels, I can potentially really push the boat out with my electricity usage without worrying about it 'cos my monthly bill pays for itself in 9 days now!


It's been incredibly stressful for the last few months but the end is in sight now and Gaia and the Green Man are both pointing me in the right direction and looking after me now.

Today's lunch was slightly different in that it was a mug of Minestrone Cup Soup instead of my usual vegetable one.  I'm also troughing my way through 3 Marmite punnets from Graze and maybe a packet of crisps this afternoon, but there aren't any photo's of those.

Today's (25th March 2024) breakfast photo

Today's breakfast was just my normal two slices of wholemeal toast with dairy-free spread, smooth peanut butter to bump up my protein intake, two packets of apple slices and my usual 250ml bottle of orange juice.


I've also slurped my way through a 350ml mug of decaff instant coffee and I've got a drinking chocolate with me-friendly squirty cream (to bump up my calories a bit more) on the go atm.

It's a good job that...

...I waited until after breakfast to do the official weigh-in 'cos I've put on 700g since then lol


I'm happy with where my weight is 'cos it's slap bang in the middle of the healthy weight range that my GP gave me for my height, so I'll keep consuming 2,000-ish calories a day and my wee is the right colour according to my GP, so 3-ish litres is right for me to stay hydrated each day too.


Basically I'm gonna keep doing this week, what I did last week so that my weight stay's around this kinda weight each week and I won't be nagging myself to put on or lose weight.


I've just gotta find what works for me now that both the medical bods and me are happy with my weight.
