I'm absolutely cream-crackered, swollen, in a great deal of pain and just generally feeling bleh so I've popped my last two pills of the day and I'm heading off to beddy-byes.
I'll see you all in the morning.
Nite nite orl.

Over 3.5 hours late with this photo, but I've had a busy afternoon and it looks like it'll be a busy evening too lol
Today's lunch was the same as it has been recently - just a 6 serving packet of bacon flavour rashers crisps and a 500ml glass of water.
Here's my lunch photo from today:
I've just finished setting up my donation page for MacMillan again (I forgot to save it the first time - woops!) and I'd love to see those donations start to rack up!
Shave day is pencilled in as 30th June 2025 and my target sponsorship is £500 which is £50 a month over the next 10 months... will you be my first sponsor??
For my first meal since Thursday lunchtime, I had 2 slices of wholemeal 'Toastie' toast and dairy-free spread with a 250ml bottle of orange juice.
Here's today's breakfast photo:
My head feels a lot lighter this morning, but I'm not as wobbly as I thought I would be, which is reassuring.
I've popped my morning pills, been for two wee's, taken the penultimate video of the week and the virus scan is plodding away well, so I've just gotta put today's to-do list up while I wait for my carer now... I wonder if she'll disappear quickly or actually do something to help me this morning? Will she be an 8 or 18 minute carer?
Time to do the admin with the video and then put my day's to-do list together now I reckon.

It's been a loooong week, but it's over and done with now and I know that I can definitely do the charity things with my hair now, so I've just gotta get the fundraising information from both charities and a strong, recyclable envelope to send my hair off in then I can relax. Sorry birds, no more of my hair for a while!
I've popped my last two pills of the day so I'm gonna crawl on up to beddy-byes now.
Nite nite orl
...to grow and look after my hair as much as possible between now and 30th June 2025 please?
I sounded out the hairdresser this afternoon and she's up for it, but my hair needs to be at least 30cm long and I'm donating it to the Little Princess Trust so that they can make wigs for children and young people who have cancer or alopecia or any other condition that makes them lose their hair.
My head will be totally shaved and that will be for the MacMillan cancer charity so I'll be helping two charities in one hair-cutting session.
My hair is significantly shorter now, but this is gonna be as short as it goes before 30th January.
I'm gonna invest in some bright, fun, upbeat, cheery hats to get used to wearing between now and when it's done so that I can protect my head while it's hairless.
I've never been bald before so it'll be a totally new look for me but will be sooo worth it and will hopefully be a regular thing if the first one goes OK.
Anyone up for sponsoring me for MacMillan and/or the Little Princess Trust??
My electricity usage is gonna be through the roof today 'cos I accidentally left the living room light on all night as well as the bathroom water heater! Woops!
I've popped my morning pills, run the daily virus scan and remembered to bring my brushes and hair band down with me, so I've just gotta remember to have a shower as soon as my morning carer has left now.
The first video of the day has finished uploading from my phone to my storage space, so I've just gotta save it and upload it to my new blog now.
This blog post is getting very long so I'm gonna shut up and work on getting my to-do list together before my first carer of the day arrives.
BBIAB
I'm shattered, wobbly and in a lot of pain so I've popped my last two pills of the day and I'm heading off to beddy-byes.
I'll see you all in the morning.
Nite nite orl.
I've got my second hot choccie of the day on the go and it's the second hot drink I've had all day and the second chocolate of any variety too! I dunno what I did with the 10 hours between the two hot chocolates but something must have done!
I'm getting my hair cut short tomorrow so I've gotta limit my drinks all day otherwise I'll be needing a wee while I'm travelling. Gotta remember to take my keys and purse with me otherwise I won't be able to pay!!
Gotta remember to brush my hair and jump in the shower as soon as my carer has gone so that I can get rid of all the grease.
I'm not going to do my laps after lunch otherwise I'll be on the floor more often than on my feet with so much weight gone from my head too!
Tomorrow is gonna be the last upheaval for a while though, so I'm hoping I'll be able to spend next week recovering.
Today's lunch was the same as yesterday's - a 6 serving packet of bacon flavour rashers crisps and a 500ml glass of water, made entirely by me because my carer was more interested in sniffing and scratching herself for the entire 8 minutes she was in the house before she hurried out so that she didn't get a parking ticket.
Here's today's lunch photo:
I still had my usual 2 slices of wholemeal 'Toastie' toast with dairy-free spread but the drink wasn't the watermelon and raspberry juice I've been having for a couple of days, no, it was a 250ml bottle of new-to-me wonky orange juice and it tasted sooo good - I could tell that there were no added sugars or preservatives in it, just freshly squeezed wonky oranges that had been rejected because they weren't perfect. It was in a glass bottle too, so better for the environment. Definitely a juice to get again!
Here's the photo of today's breakfast:
Well, what a slow start to the morning I've had today! In the 45 minutes that I've been awake I've only got myself a glass of water, taken my morning pills (including my happy pill), run the daily virus scan and taken the first video of the day.
I'm expecting a Freegler to come over this afternoon and I've got more space to bring stuff down from the spare room now so I'm assuming my carer will demand that of me either today or tomorrow. I've got heaps of boxes to get rid of too.
Time to put today's to-do list together while I wait for the first video of the day to compress.
BBS (I hope)
The last few weeks are really starting to catch up with me so I've taken my last two pills of the day and I'm heading straight to bed. Can someone remind me to take a happy pill tomorrow 'cos last week's dose is seriously starting to lessen now and I wanna stop my mood from getting too low 'cos I deserve better than that.
I've had enough for today so I'm heading on up to beddy-byes.
I'll see you all in the morning.
Nite nite orl.
I've just seen how much I'll be paying as of the next invoice for my carers - just shy of £650 a month for less than half an hour of actual support.
I've been keeping a spreadsheet of the actual support I receive each time since the end of July and the total so far is... drum roll please... 21 minutes and 33 seconds in exactly a month (I started the spreadsheet on 29th July) so rounding that up to 30 minutes means that they actually get paid £1300 for an hour of actual support.
Assuming that I actually got the 6½ hours of care that I'm charged for each week, that's £8,450 a week and £33,800 a month which is a huge £405,600 a year.
Apparently I get the full 30 minutes twice a day and that I should be more grateful for their support though 🤷
Veeeery late with these photos after losing my internet connection before breakfast and only getting it back a little while ago.
Breakfast was 2 slices of wholemeal 'Toastie' toast and dairy-free spread with a 500ml bottle of watermelon and raspberry juice.
Lunch was a 6 serving packet of bacon flavour rashers crisps and a 500ml glass of water.
I've also had some chocolate biscuit bars that are really affecting my allergies, but never mind eh?
Here are today's two meal photos:
I've had a very boring morning because my internet connection died before 9am and because I was running the monthly virus scan I couldn't reboot so made use of my time by having breakfast (photo will be up as soon as the backups have finished), doing my laps, cleaning the bathroom (which my carer won't even notice) and surfing the web on my phone then having my lunch (same deal as with the breakfast photo).
My delivery came as I was doing my laps, so they are all in the fridge now, ready for tomorrow.
My backups are only 32% done so I'm thinking it'll be a late session with getting the two photo's up... it's only every 7 months though, so that's not so bad.
I've blathered on for long enough with one blog post though, so I'm gonna publish it and update today's to-do list.
BBIAB
I've woken up in a positive mood and remembered to set the monthly scan off so just need to keep remembering not to open my email programmes until it's finished.
Got a delivery due today so I'll be able to have real, proper fruit juice instead of squash for breakfast starting tomorrow.
I've popped my morning pills and already taken and saved the video so I'm really hoping I'll be able to get it online before my carer arrives, but we shall have to wait and see.
Time to publish this blog post and get today's first to-do list up I think.

I'm wiped out, swollen, in pain, my head is full of cotton wool and my brain is totally fried so I've popped my last two pills of the day and I'm heading to bed now.
Gotta remember that it's the monthly virus scan and backups tomorrow and I've ordered myself 12 bottles of orange juice that are due by 10pm tomorrow so I hope they come waaaay before that!
I'm gonna shut down and crawl upstairs now.
See you all in the morning.
Nite nite orl.
