What a day!

I unexpectedly got my loft hatch significantly (as in at least quadrupled) expanded today!  I knew it was going to be done but I was told it was gonna be on the same day as the weather system being put up, which was delayed until Sunday so I assumed that the loft hatch would be done on Sunday too.

Nope.

At 10.17am the doorbell rang which totally confused me so when I opened the door I was met with a man who goes "Alright Love?  I've come to do summat with your loft hatch" and I'm standing there like a lemon trying to process it lol

'Tis done now though and what was ever so slightly bigger than A4 this morning now takes up pretty much the entire top of the landing!

I've just got the weather system/centre/whatever they called it yesterday thing to get put in out the back on Sunday et voila!  I'll definitely have earnt my last mocktail by then lol

I've had a celebratory drinking chocolate and I'm gonna do my laps when I've taken the mug out to the kitchen and gone for a wee.  I'm not gonna push myself too hard 'cos my left knee and leg are really ouchie and I'm stiff as a board, but the end is in sight now.

I think I need to stop panicking with the cost of my electricity usage when my meter turns itself on at 6am each morning 'cos it's now 4.20pm and I'm still under budget, it's just mornings that are expensive 'cos of the immersion heater warming up ready for my morning wash and the central heating warming the house up so that I don't freeze any more.

I'm not gonna mess with *any* of the settings on the central heating control panel tomorrow, I won't even turn it on and I'll use chocolate to get me through the anxieties it's bound to cause but I'm determined to do it.

Time to publish this, go for my next wee then do my laps methinks.  Need to remember to charge my FitBit up after that too.
