A scammer has just called my home phone and the conversation, almost word for word, went like this:
Me: Hello?
Scammer: Mrs Devroux?
Me: No
Scammer: You are Mrs Devroux?
Me: No
Scammer: Yes, you Mrs Devroux
Me: Not even close
Scammer: You name Mrs Devroux
Me: Try again
Scammer: You Mrs Devroux
Me: Never in my life have I been Mrs Devroux and I've never heard of her either
Scammer: You not Mrs Devroux?
Me: Not even close
Scammer: Oh
He then hung up the phone in absolute disappointment.
