Today's (1st April 2024) lunch photo

Today's lunch was just my usual instant vegetable Cup Soup with an added bar of chocolate so that I could get enough calories into me to turn the graph green.  This afternoon is gonna be 3 mugs of decaff tea or coffee and now that I've done my afternoon laps, I still need to consume another 250 calories even after the lunchtime choccie, so I can see a mocha in my afternoon to try and get back into the green instead of the blue that the laps have now caused.

Plan for this afternoon's calorie intake

Lunch - minestrone instant soup and a Quality Street bar of chocolate (525 calories in total)

Drinks - 4 mugs of either decaff tea or decaff coffee


That should take me to the green in the graph and the 3 litres of liquid too.


Just gotta remember to ask my carer to help me to change the bedding now lol

  • Find crystal cabinet - there might be a way to get one (or more) from Mindful Souls at some point in future, but I'll keep looking for one (or more) for my other crystals too
  • Find more Pagany things
  • Read and review a book on my TBR pile

Today's (1st April 2024) breakfast photo

As a way to start off the new month, I decided to really bump up my calories and have smooth peanut butter on my usual two slices of wholemeal toast with dairy-free spread, 2 packs of apple and grapes (there were a huge 8 grapes in each pack instead of the usual 3 or 4 this morning!!) and a 250ml bottle of orange juice.  I also had 100g of dried apple and cinnamon wedges this morning too, so I've already had 4 out of my 5 portions of fruit (and veg) today!

Thaaaat's more like it!

I've put on 500g in a week so I'm still where I wanna be but this week I'm gonna aim for making my FitBit graph green instead of significantly red, so I won't be eating 2,000 calories a day after all, I'll be aiming for about 1,500-1,600 a day this week.  I can still safely do my laps now that I've put on some weight while pigging out last week, so this week's experiment is aiming for the new calorie target rather than 2,000.  It doesn't matter if I gain or lose weight this week 'cos I can safely do either and still be in my healthy weight range, but the magic number isn't 2,000 any more.

The unofficial weigh-in shows that...

...I've lost 100g in the last week since my last weigh-in, but I haven't had my breakfast yet and I usually weigh myself after I've had it, which means that it's another 2,000 calorie week and twice a day laps again, thankfully.

 

Oh boy.

I'm gonna be in agony and extremely uncomfortable all day now, thanks to my carer.


She did absolutely bugger all to help me get washed and when it came to getting dressed she put my socks on backwards three time and pulled my trousers up so high that the waistband was literally at the bottom of my ribs so I've now got a painful lower half and my socks to put on when I've stopped shaking.


I've had a comforting mug of drinking chocolate and I'm gonna go and weigh myself now so that I know if I can do my laps this week or not.

Mornin' all

What a cold morning to start the week off with!  The central heating still hasn't kicked in so I'll be reliant on hot drinks to stay warm again today.


I've popped my morning pills with my morning glass of water and it's the first day of only having my lunchtime pill every other day now.


I'm gonna put today's to-do list up and I've gotta remember to weigh myself to make sure I can keep doing my laps.  I ate just over 2,000 calories every day last week, so I'll have to see what that's done to my weight.


My daily virus scan seems to have frozen again, so I might have to reboot to get it going again.


Gonna publish this and put today's to-do list up now, before my first carer of the day arrives.
