...to do my second set of laps at about 11am and my lunch will be a multipack of chocolate biscuits so that I'm not rushed off my feet and leaving my lunch to go cold or my fingers full of crumbs when the optician arrives.
It'll cost around £300 for new frames, lenses and the non-NHS test but that's not so bad at all, considering it was closer to £1,000 last time I went to my previous optician back in 2019!
I'm gonna try and remember to take my landline phone with me on my second set of laps because that's got the time on it and it's how the optician will let me know that he's on his way, then I can just tidy up the side in the kitchen so that he's got room to put his kit then I'll keep my fingers crossed that it's enough room for him to work in.
I'm already getting nervous lol
