I've just set the backups going on my new external hard drive and to back up 282GB of stuff (basically everything on my hard drive that I want to keep) it'll only take 3 hours!
My usual Wednesday backups take about 2.5 hours and that's just my documents and websites and is less than half what I'm backing up now, so I'm already impressed with it!
In the time it took me to go for a wee and make myself a hot drink, it had already backed up about 10gb which is going some by anyone's standards!
I realise that it'll take longer the more space I use, but it's getting top marks from me right now!
It's been going for about 10 minutes and it's backed up almost 30gb so far, so I'm wondering if my usual Wednesday backups will take under an hour 'cos they are less than 100gb a week!
