I've just discovered that what I was reading as pounds and pence is actually kWh so I haven't earnt the best part of £300 already after all, it's actually telling me that the solar panels have produced 296.79 kWh. I haven't got a clue how much that is in monetary terms, but at least I know for sure now and I apologise for my mistake.
