Up to...

...page 315 now, so only got another 50 to go this afternoon before/after my bath and I'm averaging 1 page every 2-3 minutes, so it should be done in a couple of hours, then the next job is to save them all onto the CDs and then file them safely.  I'm aiming to get them scanned in and saved today so that I can spend tomorrow going through them and making notes so that I can come up with a list of questions for my GP and plan out the book tomorrow around the normal Sunday routine.

It's taken faaar too long, but it only needs to be done once and that's it then.

Gonna do the admin on the file names while I wait for my lunchtime carer then take it from there.

Thaaat's more like it!

My smart meter has just come on for the day and it's showing that I've used 76p (including the daily standing charge) since midnight which is only 8p more than this time yesterday morning and a lot more like what I was expecting and the heating was on for about an hour this morning too, so I'm a lot happier now.  I'll see what it's like at lunchtime and might even change the time to be on for 2 hours twice a day instead of just an hour!

Big things to accomplish for this week

Tuesday - sort out and put away living room boxes then bring in and put away groceries

Wednesday - do virus scan and backups then check scanner still works while putting up the table ready for...

Thursday - scan in medical records, save to CD's/DVD's and file them safely

Friday - Finish scanning in medical records then read through medical records while making notes of questions for my GP about anything I don't understand and planning each chapter of the book

Saturday - Finish scanning in medical records, save to CD's, file them then have bubble bath

Sunday - Read through medical records, come up with list of questions for my GP and start to plan out book

Mornin' all

Has the central heating finally fixed itself after not letting me use it for 37 hours?  Will I finally get heat today and it'll automatically turn itself off at 5.30am?  If it does, how much is it gonna cost me today?

I've already take my first 4 pills and gummy of the day with my morning glass of water, set the daily virus scan off and refilled the squash bottle, so that's OK.  My FitBit is getting some juice until 6.15am then I'll put it back around my ankle and start the final day's worth of scanning before my lunchtime carer comes then have a hopefully hot bubble bath and my second shave of the year lol  I've only got 120 pages left to scan in and I'm hoping that I can catch up on being a day behind today and tomorrow 'cos that's just reading through the scans, coming up with questions for my GP about medical terms and stuff like that then planning out the book, so that should only take a few hours and can be done around today's bath and tomorrow's visit.

This first blog post of the day is getting long, so I'm gonna publish it and put today's to-do list together now.

Nite nite orl

I'm not going to bed straight away 'cos I've gotta slightly re-name a few more files before I head to bed, but I've taken my pills and it shouldn't be too much longer with any luck.

I'll see you all at some point in the morning.

Nite nite orl.
