It's definitely the soup season now, which means my carers have the opportunity to not only make my lunch but bring it through for me and even wash the mug up if there's time at the end of the slot. In reality, the most I can realistically hope for is the carer washing the mug up if they are in a good mood/feeling generous.
I had my second mug of minestrone Cup Soup for lunch today and my stomach seems to be getting used to having 700 calories less to work with a day. I've made sure that I've got plenty of biscuits that I can tuck into if I get too hungry, otherwise it's a 65 calorie last meal each day until the warmer weather kicks in again.
