...my in-laws for getting me out of the house for a few hours today and for feeding me up and sending me home with leftovers.
I'm also grateful for the sweet, comforting taste of chocolate.
On top of that, I'm also grateful that I'm still breathing and I've got a body that's keeping me out of hospital so far.
I'm forever grateful to my Neurologist who treated me and I firmly believe saved my life.
I'm grateful for my best friend, C, and his support since 1999 - I haven't made things easy for him at times but he's stayed by my side and been my rock and stability over the years.
I'm grateful that my peach tea and chocolate have been dispatched so that I can be sure I've always got something sweet available to satisfy my sweet tooth.
I'm grateful for my house being in the shade in weather like this and that I've kept the curtains closed all day so that the heat isn't as stifling as it would maybe have been if I hadn't.
I'm grateful for my laptop and internet connection and my air purifier.
I'm grateful that I've been able to adjust my grocery orders so that there isn't so much drinking chocolate and me-friendly squirty cream on there.
I'm grateful that I've got a Prime account so that I can listen to podcasts and music for free, to help with the lonliness.
I'm grateful that I've only missed one pill this week (today's lunchtime pill) and that I've refilled the dosette box ready for next week.
I'm grateful that the dye in my hair stayed in place last night and that I didn't pull the duvet over myself overnight too.
I'm grateful that the plumber sorted out the kitchen for me so that I can now let the water down the plug hole and use my washer-drier without having to babysit it for the entire cycle so that I can let water out for the same reason. I'm grateful that I know how to fix it myself next time it happens and that the plumber was so generous and understanding and supportive.
I've got a lot to be grateful for.
