He came over today and took me to the post box to post a letter to my GP, then came back and we sat in the yard for a while and with his gentle encouragement I've contacted my local councillor about something and they replied under an hour later saying that they would get onto the manager about it again. Then I re-started my OddBox subscription and I've got a full week's worth of salads and fruit coming overnight on Sunday so I've just got drinks and pickles on Tuesday's groceries to give it a bit of zing. He also discovered the issue with the UHT milk, so I've emailed my brother to see what sort of milk he prefers then I'll put in a much smaller order lol
A whole variety of things could very easily have gone wrong today, but C prevented it all and I will always be grateful for his friendship and support.
