Knew it was too good to be true!

While I was in the barely tepid bath, Steve got washed at the kitchen sink and by the time I got out of the bath half an hour later he said that he wasn't going to cook for lunch today after all and that he would just have crisps and biscuits instead.

I'm going to have raspberries for my lunch by the looks of things again then.  He won't cook tomorrow 'cos we're going for his "birthday lunch" at his folks, so he's lied yet again about how much he cooks for me - only one cooked meal this week out of the 14 that he says he does.  He says he makes all the hot drinks too, even though he hasn't made a single one for the last (hold on while I check the spreadsheet) - he made a hot drink for me on 25th June but nothing since then, so that's another lie he tells everyone who will listen.

I've just added up the totals for the amount of care my carer has provided since I started recording it 17 weeks ago - 42 hours and 49 minutes yet he is supposed to care for me for a minimum of 35 hours a week to be considered a carer.  I hit 42 hours before lunchtime on a Thursday every week, but apparently I'm not a carer and don't do anything to support him and my carer does everything for me, yet he's only 7 hours past that after 16 weeks combined.

Time to stop ranting and open up my raspberries ready for my lunch now... I'm just grateful that I was able to have breakfast after all otherwise I wouldn't have even made it to 200 calories again today.  I'm gonna have to pig out tomorrow in case it's the same next week too.

TTFN.

Today's breakfast photos

I only missed one breakfast this week after all 'cos I've just had the two parts of today's breakfast:

Apparently we're definitely having egg and chips for lunch, so I'll hopefully remember to take a photo for you all to see after I've put my laptop back on the table and downloaded the photos and resized them... you watch me forget though lol

I was wrong, I'm sorry

Earlier on this morning, I said that I couldn't have breakfast again today 'cos the bowl was full of water and hadn't been washed up.  I was wrong about that and I apologise for my mistake.

My carer washed the bowl up overnight so I could have breakfast today after all.  I've just had it and taken photos for you all so I'll pop them into a different blog post for you all.

Pills taken now, so...

...I've just gotta wait for my carer to wake up so that I can do his breakfast for him, then I'll have a bath ready for tomorrow and spend the rest of the day caring for my carer again.

It's Saturday today and I haven't even had an hour of care out of my carer so far this week, yet I've already cared for him for over 58 hours so far this week.  Because of having the bath (assuming Steve hasn't used all the hot water) it'll only be about 10 hours of care today and because of spending all afternoon (and probably a good chunk of the evening too) with his family tomorrow, it'll prolly be a 70 hour week of care this week and, assuming my carer does cook for lunch, I might get 1½ hours of care out of him this week.

Virus scan completed, pills about to be taken...

...and I've already cared for my carer for over 90 minutes this morning.  When he wakes up, I'll go and make his breakfast for him, then take my morning pills, then jump in the bath ready for seeing the in-laws tomorrow.  From the looks of the kitchen, I won't be having any breakfast again and I can pretty much guarantee that my carer won't want to cook lunch again so I'll be living on under 50 calories from the orange juice today.

Just eaten something solid (other than the blueberries) for the first time today...

...remembered that I still had a few bars of me-friendly chocolate left, so I've devoured them and my stomach isn't rumbling so much any more.

We're having fried eggs and chips for lunch tomorrow apparently, but I bet there will be another excuse to not cook againm just like yesterday and today.  I'm gonna have breakfast tomorrow though, and I'll just have to hope that my legs don't give way on me.  I've got to have a bath tomorrow too, before we have lunch, in preparation for Sunday so I just hope that I can recover enough after lunch and overnight so that I can put our rubbish and recycling out before we leave on Sunday.  It's supposed to be a joint effort, yet it's only ever me who does it, just like with breakfast.

I'm not gonna get ranty and het up so close to bed time otherwise I won't be able to sleep which will make things even worse tomorrow.

I'm gonna leave it there for the day but I'll be back as normal tomorrow.

Just as I thought this morning...

...I'll be living on less than 100 calories (not a typo) today 'cos Steve's "too stuffed after my two meals yesterday as well as breakfast this morning" so my body is expected to survive on literally a serving of orange juice and 50 blueberries all day because my carer is too full from yesterday and this morning, but as long as he eats then that's OK with him.

No breakfast photos today, because...

...my carer put the bowl in to soak yesterday but didn't bother washing or drying it up, so my breakfast (and potentially lunch too, based on what my carer said last night) is 46 blueberries and 250ml of orange juice, which is 78 calories for the entire day, so I'll definitely have lost weight when I weigh myself on Monday.

Why didn't I wash the bowl and spoon up?

Because I'd already been on my feet for too long making my carer's breakfast so it would have been dangerous to risk that too, in case my legs gave way and I dropped the bowl and broke it as I hit the floor.  I'd rather stay on my feet than do the washing and drying up then make my own breakfast, so it's fruit and orange juice today.

Last pills of the day taken and...

...I need to order more of one of my prescriptions next week so that I don't run out of them.  That's me appropriately dosed up so far this week though - haven't missed a single pill (I took my twice-weekly one last night by accident, so didn't take it this morning) and I'm about to jinx it, but I'm cautiously hopeful that I'll keep remembering to take them until Sunday so that I have a completely empty pill organiser which very rarely happens, but I feel so much better when I'm appropriately dosed up each day.

Time to start closing all my programmes and apps down so that I can get ready for this SCBWI thing, then I'm off to bed pretty much as soon as it finishes 'cos I'll be barely able to keep my eyes open then 🤣  I'm already yawning 🥱

Very much doubt I'll post again tonight, so I'm gonna say nite nite to you all now and I'll see you bright and early in the morning.

That's the birthday boy's tea eaten...

...so I've spent £50 on his food for today, plus up to another £250 for his glasses is £300 for his birthday, and all I got from him was a home cooked meal that I bought the ingredients for and paid for the electricity for the oven too, so basically he spent about half an hour cooking for both of us and spent bugger all money on me, yet expects me to spend hundreds on him.  He wants me to pay off the arrears on our mortgage too, so that he can start rebuilding his credit score and paying off his three credit cards instead of the £1 a month which is apparently all he could afford, yet he's more than happy to pay for podcasts and patreon things and stuff like that... good job I've got enough to cover it in my savings innit!

I've got a SCBWI thing on tonight and I discovered that I've got 24 bottles of J2O in the kitchen, so that should hopefully inspire me to write 5,000 words a day for NaNo and JanNo and still have four left over to celebrate with at Yule.

I've put a butternut squash onto our next grocery order so hopefully when I have that, Steve can make a dent in his chicken breasts to use up the Korma sauce that I can't have thanks to an allergen.  We're hopefully gonna have something eggy tomorrow and "it'll prolly be a light meal 'cos I'll still be stuffed from today" so yet again we are going by how hungry or otherwise he is, despite me only having breakfast today.

I give up.
