The end is finally in sight! The flooring has been laid, the bath and shower stuff brought in, the electrical stuff sorted, so it's just a case of the plumber coming back tomorrow to put it all in, then a final visit from the electrician to wire up the shower and the heater bit et voila!
I've also got a safe landing and bedroom light now too, so won't be stumbling around in the dark when I go up to bed any more too... I'm >this< close to having a safer house to live in now and that's a huge relief.
