Today (19th April 2026) I'm grateful for...

...just about being able to afford the next month without any more cash boosts.  I'll be left with about a tenner, but that's all the bills for the next month covered.  I'll have to top up my electricity very soon and I'm guessing I'll be getting my water bill soon too (my first bill on a water meter that'll be part standard and part actual this year apparently), but I've already paid my Council Tax which are the three biggest bills at the start of every year. I've got a separate account for the big bills like that, but I can put all my income for the next month into that account without going short, which is a relief.  I might even be able to reward myself with the occasional take-away/Nero too.  

I can do this budgeting lark lol
