I've just...

...unofficially weighed myself and I've lost 1.4kg so far this week, so I'm only 900g away from where the nurse wanted me to be now.  I'm hoping I'll lose another bit before my official weigh-in after breakfast on Monday morning and I'm hoping I'll be bang on the week after.


The nurse originally gave me a range to work towards, going by my height, so I was originally aiming for the middle of the range, which is where I was when I next got weighed at the GP surgery but the nurse said she wanted me at the top of the range rather than the middle to bottom, which I've been aiming for ever since.


Considering I was officially 72kg when I came out of hospital in 2004 (according to my medical records at the time) and officially obese, I'm at a much healthier weight for my height now and I wanna stick to that - it's easier in Summer 'cos I can load up on fruit and salads for my lunches instead of heavier, air-fryer meals like I do in cooler weather.


Now that I've discovered that I can safely have drinking chocolates in hot weather and that they cool me down rather than overheat me, I'll have no excuse not to load up on those between meals when I'm thirsty either!  I've just gotta find something that works for me and stick to it now.
