Languages

I know Ndayipi is hello and Maitabata is thank you now... I'll never be fluent in the language, but I can say hello and thank you to my African carers now... my Ghanian carers look at me as if I'm nuts though lol  I also know that the bata bit is written basa and that zai is pronounced zee in Africa.

I'm absolutely shattered so I've popped my pills and I'm heading to bed now.

Next up in the language learning is "thank you" which I think starts with "em" and ends in "brah" but I'm prolly wrong and just like "ndayipi" I'm not gonna give up until I can say it and remember it.  If I have Kudzai as either carer tomorrow I'll try and remember to get her to keep teaching me it until she's sick of the word, but I'm determined to learn a few very basic words in her language as she's taken the time, trouble and effort to be fluent in mine!

Gotta remember it's the weekly scan tomorrow... you watch me forget though lol

...say "hello" to my carers from Zimbabwe now - no idea how you spell it, but it's pronounced "deepee" so I'll try and remember to say "deepee Kudzai!" next time she comes to my door... you watch me forget though lol
