Mornin' all

I've already done the washing up, taken my pills, run the daily virus scan and cared for my carer for 2 hours.  He doesn't want too much breakfast and no lunch 'cos of his booster jab, so it'll be another day that I'll be going hungry again.  Might have a smoothie for lunch if I start feeling sick from hunger after not eating for 2 days, but that's not a guarantee.

I'm gonna prepare my carer's lunch while he's out of the house so that it just needs to be put in the oven/on the hob when he comes back so that he doesn't have to "stand around waiting it for hours before I go out".

Time to crack on with the news now.

Smidgen over...

...54 hours so far this week, so 75 hours feels pretty achievable right now, just not so sure about 80 hours.  I'll be happy with 75 hours though, 'cos that's just over 10 hours each day, but 80 hours would be 13 hours each day, which just isn't achievable unless I wake up at 4am and head to bed at 10pm both days, which just wouldn't be healthy, so I'm aiming for 75 hours this week.

My carer's caring for me adds up to 1 hour 35 minutes this week, so unless he cares for me for the vast majority of tomorrow, all night, and all of Sunday without any rest or breaks, he won't be hitting the minimum yet again.  Assuming my carer cooks tomorrow, it'll be around about the 2 hour mark and another half an hour on Sunday, so I might just about scrape 2½ hours of care out of him this week which isn't even ⅒ of the minimum that's required and tells everyone he easily does each week.

Time for me to head to bed now I reckon.

Nite nite orl.

My hubby and carer has just...

...looked over next week's grocery order and approved it, so the totals look like this right now:

My stuff:  £7.47
Steve's stuff:  £14.97
Joint stuff:  £25.37

I'm very impressed by those totals and it makes a huge change from how it usually is, so as long as it stays pretty much like that then I won't be whining about it on Monday at all.  Might still do a totals post, like this one, but I certainly ain't gonna complain about it as long as the joint stuff stays the majority of the total!

Lunch today was...

...half a kilo of carrots, so those and the four slices of bread I had for breakfast mean that I've eaten less than a third of my daily calorie count, but I wasn't given a choice.

Lunch tomorrow is chicken Korma for Steve and either hash browns if my carer can motivate himself to cook a few for me, or nothing again.  I've got plenty of fruit, so might make myself a smoothie later on today and/or for lunch tomorrow, but I doubt I'll be having breakfast 'cos there won't be enough Granola for both of us so it'll be 250ml of orange juice for breakfast and either a smoothie or hash browns for lunch tomorrow, so yet another low calorie day... good job I need to lose a few kilo's again, innit.

I've done my second set of laps and clocked up a huuuuge 81 active minutes in 9,173 steps today, so there's a chance that I might even be able to get close to 10,000 steps before I head to bed tonight, which I haven't done for over a year, so I'm feeling pretty proud of myself right now!

My legs are seriously weak and tired now, so I'm not gonna go further than the bathroom for the rest of the day now.

Laps done and dusted, so now...

...I can recover until around lunchtime.

My knees and legs are killing me now, cos I did 40 active minutes this morning just to try and push myself a bit... I'll see how I feel at lunchtime and won't push myself too hard if I'm still recovering.  On Monday I was going to do 15 minutes twice a day and I've already almost tripled it, so as long as I manage 15 minutes (so that my FitBit logs it) this afternoon, then I won't push myself any more than that.  I'd like to do another 40 minutes this afternoon, but I honestly don't think my body will let me 'cos I had 3 significant wobbles this morning so I don't want to go too far too fast.

Mornin' all

Had a very late start to the day and because Steve's been paid today, he's going to get a Subway sarnie for lunch and not have any breakfast, so I'll be living on water and bread that's past its best today.

I've taken my morning pills, run the virus scan (still clear), left a book review on Amazon and cared for my carer for 2 hours and 20 minutes so far.

I've got a bag of "wonky carrots" and "wonky peppers" so they will be my lunch.

Here's the photo of my breakfast:

Gonna go and take the plate out to the kitchen, then do my laps now I reckon.

Pills swallowed, phone charged up...

...just waiting for the side effects to kick in now, then I can head off to bed and hopefully get at least 8 hours of sleep and not wake up at my usual time of 5.30am lol

Nite nite orl.

Review of "ONESING 25-120 Pcs Knuckle Rings for Women"

⭐⭐ out of 5

I really wanted to believe all the positive reviews so ordered the 40 piece set.

It arrived and there were literally only 7 rings in the entire set that fitted me.

After wearing those 7 rings for literally less than 2 weeks, one of them completely broke after doing nothing more than typing on my laptop and washing my hands a few times a day after using the bathroom, so it got binned.

The other 6 rings are lasting better, but they have somehow become damaged so they aren't suitable to wear outside the house.  Thankfully I'm pretty much housebound, so that isn't too much of a problem, but they are a total waste of money.

If you're looking for a *very* temporary set of rings that you'll only be using a few times before you bin them, then these are OK for that, but if you're looking for something that lasts longer than two weeks, then save up a few quid extra and get a better quality set.  These really are only worth being used as a very temporary measure.

I'll sleep well tonight!

At the weekend, I promised myself that I'd aim to do 15 minutes worth of laps each day and gradually increase it.

I managed it on Monday, so I figured it wouldn't hurt to add on an extra five minutes twice a day, so that's what I did on Tuesday.  I hit 29 minutes on my second set of laps yesterday so I figured I'd aim for 30 minutes once today... I managed it this morning and feeling motivated I decided to attempt it again this afternoon too.

I've just finished the second set of laps and managed 32 minutes, which was totally awesome and I'm really proud of myself.  It seemed to help that I wasn't counting each step in my head this afternoon, like I had been the previous 3 or 4 times.

I was aiming for a total of 6,000 steps but I've managed a huge 7,075 so far today, so might even hit 8,000 steps by the time I head to bed tonight, which I haven't done in about a year since our puppy dog passed away last year.

Hopefully I'll have lost some weight when I weigh myself on Monday lol

Today's (2nd December) lunch photo

That was sooo good... straight from a Chinese take-away kinda flavour and I finished off getting on for half of Steve's too 'cos he thought it tasted burnt so didn't want to eat any more.

Totally stuffed now though lol
