And lunch makes two

Just made my carer's lunch for him while he's watching the Platinum Jubilee and taken my lunchtime pill, so now it's time to recover then go and get my lunch out of the freezer - dairy free chocolate ice cream, maybe with maple syrup, depending on how sweet the chocolate flavour is.

Bet I'll have to make his tea for him too, which will mean he's only made one meal for me this week, which was the curry on Monday.

There's a chance that I'll eat tomorrow, as long as I can motivate my carer to cook of course, 'cos that's vegan spag bol, Saturday I'll be going hungry 'cos that's pasta and the stir-in sauce that's "only enough for one of us" so it'll be Steve eating for the 6th lunch this week and Sunday is Pasta Bake so I'll potentially be eating three lunches this week and my carer will be having 7.  He'll be having breakfasts every day, courtesy of me, and I've only had two so far this week.  By Sunday he'll have had 7 evening meals and I won't have had any, so my carer will have eaten 21 times this week and I'll only have eaten a maximum of 8 times.

My carer has finished his lunch now, so I'd best go and take his two plates out (the other one has been solidifying since Monday) and go and get my ice cream for lunch <sigh>.

Today's (2nd June 2022) breakfast photo

A very boring breakfast today 'cos there isn't any fruit left to give it a sweet kick that I usually have with my breakfast, so just nutty granola and soya milk this morning.

Here's the photo:

Mornin' all

So far this morning I've:

  • Run the daily virus scan (still clear)
  • Taken my morning pills
  • Watered the seedlings and plants (there's some teeny tiny butterfly seedlings now!!)
  • Made breakfast for both of us
  • Eaten my breakfast

I've now gotta take the empty bowls through to the kitchen, sort out the photo, sort out the forum, do the news and keep caring for my carer.

I've decided not to use the abdominal toner just in case it does more harm than good and I'm gonna put it on Freegle instead.  I'm just gonna try and remember to give torso twists a try that was suggested by a friendly reader of this blog... just gotta remember to do them now lol

Nite nite orl

I've just swallowed my pills and the side effects are kicking in already, so I'm gonna sign off for the night now.

Nite nite orl.

That's my...

...carer fed and the plants/seedlings watered, so now it's time for my afternoon pill then I'll be able to have my 6 biscuits for lunch and hopefully a couple of drinking chocolates this afternoon to try and keep my calories up to as close to 2,000 as possible.  I've already consumed 1,211 calories, so a couple more drinking chocolates and the biscuits will take me just over which will hopefully give me a bit of a buffer for tomorrow.  Not sure how many calories tomorrow's biscuits'll be but hopefully they will be pretty high calorie too.

Gotta take my lunchtime pill so that I don't forget first though.

Time to...

...put my FitBit back around my ankle then go and make my carer's lunch for him.  I'm finishing off the package of Bourbon Creams for my lunch 'cos there's no way I'm stable enough to make 2 MugShots today.  When I've brought in my carer's lunch, I'll go and water the plants/seedlings then I can hopefully rest and recover while I have my other 6 biscuits.

BFN.

Backups have just...

...finished too, so I'm gonna go for a wee then restart my laptop in the hope that the FitBit app will re-pair itself again.

Virus scan...

...finished (still clear of nasties), backups started, so I'll be able to download my email for the first time today in a couple of hours or so.

Mornin' all

Today is gonna be a good day, I've decided.

I've already guzzled the best part of a litre of pop and I'll go and make Steve's breakfast for him when he wakes up.  It's my weekly virus scan today so lunch will be a MugShot for Steve and my second day without lunch.  I've still got ¾ of a packet of biscuits left from yesterday's lunch so I'll have those for my breakfast and lunch today.

Yesterday was another big day of caring for my carer 'cos I put in 12 hours and 50 minutes by the time I was allowed to go to bed, so I'm already at 27 hours and 20 minutes of care for my carer so far this week.

Gotta remember to water the seedlings/plants when I go and make my carer's breakfast for him, then do the washing up so that I can let the mug dry ready for his lunch.  I won't be having a proper breakfast this morning so there won't be any food photos today 'cos I'll just be eating Bourbon Creams for both of my meals today.

Just had the reminder come up to take my morning pills, so I'd best do that now before I forget.

I'm gonna try and remember to research someone to come out and fix the wall on our stairs, then when that's sorted I'll get someone else out to decorate the walls then a plasterer and decorator for the bathroom 'cos Steve doesn't seem to want to do it.  What trade do I search for to fix the stair wall though please?  Steve reckons it's a builder, but I'd love to hear your opinions!

OK, that's my morning pills down the hatch.  Gotta remember to call my GP surgery for an appointment for reassurace about the belly buster as soon as they open this morning.  Fingers crossed that the doc will approve, but the instructions said to contact them before using it, so that's what I'm doing.

The virus scan is already 37% of the way through, so hopefully it'll be over and done with before 10am, then I can set the backups going to hopefully finish before 3pm then I can download my emails for the first time today.

Gotta remember to book our next slot for the groceries too, so I'd best do that now before I forget!

OK, that's the order placed for 3 weeks' time.  Pills swallowed and the virus scan is still running so I haven't accidentally shut that down yet.  I've been caring for my carer for 67 minutes so far this morning and he's still at only a hour for the week combined.  I doubt he'll be adding to that total today 'cos of me making his breakfast and lunch for him, tomorrow is doubtful too 'cos of his medical appointment, so I'll be making breakfast and lunch tomorrow too, which brings us to Friday and him needing to put in 34 hours in 3 days which just ain't gonna happen.

He's just woken up and needs a wee, so I'll use the opportunity to water the plants and make his breakfast for him.
