Nite nite orl

It's been a long, exhausting day today and today is likely to be emotional so I've taken my pills and I'm heading on up to beddy-byes.

I'll see you all in the morning when I've gotta remember to weigh myself and log it into my FitBit app as well as bringing in the empty rubbish and recycling containers too.  Wanna order a me-friendly snack box tomorrow too.

I'll see you all at sparrow's fart in the morning.

Nite nite orl

Just before I forget, tomorrow morning I've gotta weigh myself, log the weight into my FitBit app and hopefully be able to continue to do my laps next week.  I've also gotta remember to check to see if my prescription has been sent to the pharmacy after requesting it on 20th November!!

As if that wasn't enough, I've got a delivery due between 9.14am and 1.14pm and the Freegler coming to pick up their item straight after lunch too!

I've had an exhausting week and the only day I've got free next week is Friday when I've gotta sort out more of the spare room so it's gonna be another week of bedlum, but hopefully that'll be it then.

My last two pills of the week have been popped so I'm gonna crawl on up to beddy-byes now.

See you all in the morning.

Nite nite orl.

Nite nite orl

Aaaaand, relax.

I've had what feels like a busy day today, but I've got nothing to show for it, except a green FitBit image on the app, which I'm glad about and my fight against my spending addiction is hours as opposed to days away now, so I'm rounding the final corner of the marathon and the finish line is almost in sight - comin' to get ya tomorrow afternoon, Caffe Nero!

I've gotta remember to ask M to babysit me as I walk to the postbox soon 'cos I've got a feedback form to send back about the central heating and I don't want to forget that and I don't want to forget about the care form either that M's agreed to help me with too.

My crystals will start getting infused by the moonlight soon and I've gotta remember to put them all away before my last carer of the week gets here, but I've taken my last two pills of the day now so I'm going to bed now and I'll see you all in the morning.

Nite nite orl.

Mornin' all

Well, today is the first day of Summer if I remember to have the granola this morning!  I've got the box beside me 'cos I need to put in the 45g portion rather than the 100g serving that's already in the FitBit app, so I'll do that after I've put today's to-do list up.

I've popped my morning pills with my morning glass of water and put my clothes on the stairs ready to get changed into when my carer arrives, so I'm good to go right now.

Time to put today's to-do list together methinks.

I was sooo wrong this morning!

I'd aimed to eat up to 1600 calories today in an attempt to turn the graph green.  My sums didn't take into account the calories that I'd use up with my laps so I've had to consume about 1,800 to turn it green today, so I'm gonna ignore my maths 'cos it was obviously veeeery wrong this morning and I'm just gonna go by the FitBit calculations this week.  My aim is still gonna be to turn it green, but I won't aim for a certain number, I'll just aim to turn it green.  Assuming most days are like today, I'll be fine all week and we'll see what it does to my weight on my next weigh-in, but after I've slurped my way through the drinking chocolate, I'll just have low calorie drinks like tea and coffee.

I haven't denied myself chocolate either, so knowing that I can have 2 drinking chocolates, a 5 serving bar of chocolate and 2 Bourbon Creams will keep me on track this week now that I know I need about 1800 calories rather than 1600 a day and I'm still allowing myself chocolate so hopefully that'll keep choccie addiction in line too.

Goood morning all

I realised last night that I've done better with my addiction than I ever thought I would and I'm so unbelievably proud of myself now!

The first few days, weeks and months were a constant struggle but now I can use it like anyone else and that's incredible for me!

I've popped my morning pills with my morning glass of water and seen that 2 of the four deliveries are coming tomorrow with Royal Mail, a third delivery will hopefully be here today or tomorrow and the fourth delivery that has been split in two will be here tomorrow as well, but that's it then.

I'm gonna go and log my glass of water into the FitBit app then hopefully start the daily virus scan then put today's to-do list up before my carer arrives... will she do her job or will she just use her phone today?  We shall have to wait and see.

Nite nite orl

I've popped my final two pills of the day, so I'm gonna put the squash I used to take them with into the FitBit app, then head off to beddy-byes I reckon.

Even though there have only been 3 updates to today's to-do list, I still feel like I've achieved a pretty decent amount today, so I'm heading to bed feeling pretty positive.

Gotta remember that it's the weekly virus scan and back-ups tomorrow so I hope I remember not to open my email programmes!

I'll see you all in the morning.

Nite nite orl.

Oooh!

I've just installed the update to my Roboform and I've got the taskbar icon back at last!  It's just been that slightly folded piece of paper icon for a loooong time, but it's back now, which is a huge relief and gives my OCD one less thing to be anxious about which puts more of my mind at ease which, in turn, makes life ever so slightly easier to cope with.

Thank you Roboform!

If you wanna buy it straight away without finding out more first, just use this link and we'll both get 6 months for free and it's worth every penny!  I've been using it for decades and couldn't be without it any more!

Are there any...

...FitBit users reading this please?

I'm trying to download the spreadsheet from last week but it just keeps saying "Something went wrong!".  I've tried 2 different browsers as well as restarting and rebooting but there's still no joy.  My actual FitBit is still working, as is the app on my phone, so it really is just the online dashboard and settings that I'm having trouble with!

I can't get into Outlook or Edge either, so maybe it's someone at Microsoft who has got their foot on the pipe?

Are there any other Microsoft and FitBit users reading this who are having the same problem please?

Mornin' all

So far this morning I've taken my pills and been for a wee and I'm absolutely shattered after only having 7 hours and 19 minutes of sleep and I was restless 6 times according to my FitBit app.

I'm gonna put up today's to-do list then have my breakfast then wait for my morning carer to arrive so that she can bin her gloves and apron and I can get the rubbish and recycling taken outside.

Can any of you remember how many caffeinated drinks I've had this week?  It's too late to have another one now otherwise I won't make it to my in-laws lol

I've just started the virus scan so hopefully that'll be finished and clear by the time I've had my breakfast.

Mornin' all

I experimented with my FitBit overnight by going to bed when the charge was lower than usual to see if it would still record my sleep.  The result is that it did but it's protesting this morning so it's charging up now.

I've taken my morning pills and I'll have my breakfast when my FitBit is full of juice again.  I've got a couple of deliveries as well as my groceries arriving today so I hope they don't all come at the same time lol

I'm gonna advertise a couple of things on Freegle that I haven't used, so there's no point in hanging on to them.

Got a busy day today, so I hope it's all spread out over the next 14 hours rather than it all happening in a couple of hours!

Gonna slurp my way through my first drink of the day while my FitBit is charging up and I've gotta remember to keep an eye on the delivery estimate for my orders so that I'm not in the middle of doing something when they turn up.

Have I already said that I've taken my morning pills?  If not, then I have.

I've asked my siblings-in-law for a few favours this morning and I've gotta try and remember to screw in the screw on the front door at some point too, now that I've found the small screwdrivers.  Gonna wait until it gets light out there first though so that I can see what I'm doing and where the screw has rolled to that I'm predicting will come out knowing my luck lol

The virus scan was reassuringly still clear, so that's OK.

This blog post is getting waay too long, so I'm gonna sort out my to-do list now.

Mornin' all

How are you all doing this morning?

According to my FitBit app, I managed over 8 hours of sleep overnight, for the second time this week but I'm more exhausted than I was yesterday on 6 hours of sleep!

I've got a caffeinated coffee on the go and I'm about to take my first pills of the day so I'll have about a minute's notice before I wet myself today, but that's OK now that it's just me here 'cos there's nobody spending half an hour in the bathroom for a poo any more.

OK, that's my pills popped so I'm all set until lunchtime now.  I think today is gonna be another reading and relaxing day so that I can recover from all the activity of the last 13 weeks.

Gonna set the virus scan running, then put up my to-do list, drain my coffee and then have breakfast I reckon.

My virus scanner is...

...fixed now and running the weekly scan a day later than normal, so I can't open my emails until it's finished, but that's OK 'cos it needs to be done!

I've just got washed and dressed with my morning carer and put the first wash on a new cycle that apparently only takes 30 minutes so I hope it dries too!  If it doesn't, I'll try using the middle button and hoping for the best.

I've got another glass of pop, which is my third one of the morning already, so it's gonna be another muchly hydrated day today 'cos I drank about 4 litres yesterday and it's looking like today is gonna be another one like that if I guzzle the whole 2 litre bottle before lunch!

I'm gonna use the opportunity of my weekly virus scan taking forever to read one of my books this morning I reckon.

Today's (13th February 2023) lunch photo

Today's lunch sent my calorie count through the stratosphere, but that's a good thing for me 'cos I need to put on weight.  I was weighed at my GP surgery last week and I was about a kilo underweight but they said that was OK given the circumstances, so I'm using every opportunity I can to send my calorie count and therefore my weight, through the roof as much as I possibly can.

Today's lunch was 13 onion rings and 6 onion bhaji's which added up to 988 calories, combined with my breakfast and yesterday's leftovers means that I've eaten 2430 calories today which is, according to my FitBit app, 1046 calories over budget, which is fine with me!

Here's today's lunch photo:

Mornin' all

I had a couple of Graze punnets for my tea last night, so I'm gonna finish off the box for my breakfast, while my FitBit is charging up.

I've just started the daily virus scan and taken my morning pills, so it's time to sort out my first much-reduced to-do list of the day now.  I need to remember to put the rubbish and recycling out this morning, before Marie comes to pick me up.

My motivation is at an all-time low this morning so I hope I've got a cheerful and motivational carer to wash and dress me this morning rather than a grump that doesn't do anything to help.

My FitBit is now being charged up 'cos it was below the 79% charging up signal when I woke up, so I hope it's recorded my sleep!

I need to ask my MIL to get me more magasines next time she does her grocery shopping 'cos I've actually only got 1½ magasines left to read, rather than the 4 or 5 that I thought I had!  You watch me forget though lol

I've gotta remember to ask the Filipino carer what her name is next time I see her, so that I can use that name instead of just calling her "my Filipino carer" or "the Filipino lady" whenever I refer to her lol

Need to add the squash that I used to my FitBit app before I forget.  There prolly won't be any photos today 'cos of having the Graze box for breakfast and Sunday lunch with my in-laws.

Time to put my final to-do list of the week together now, before I forget.

Mornin' all

How are you all doing this morning?

I think I've worked out why my FitBit app wasn't working last night - they were stopping something or other on the 13th but mine carried on working, so I didn't think I had it on my FitBit, but I must have done 'cos it still isn't working this morning and I tried everything to get the Bluetooth thing to work last night, so maybe it was just taking longer than they expected and it was my turn yesterday?  It's frustrating, but I'm glad they gave me some warning about it happening at the start of October so that I didn't get flustered about it.

I've taken my morning pills so I'm all set until lunchtime now.  I'm hoping that Steve'll feel like cooking today, otherwise I'll be living on 4 biscuits all day which are considerably lower calorie than yesterday's mince pies!

He's gone for his "third wee since 4am" and brought my bottle of squash through for me, so his caring total for the week so far stands at 16 minutes and mine is over 26 hours by the time I was allowed to go to bed last night.

I've remembered not to open my emails 'cos of the weekly virus scan and now that Steve's awake, he'll be wanting his first meal of the day and a hot drink, so I'd best go and make them both for him.  I'm going to have breakfast this morning too, so that I can get a couple of hundred calories and save the biscuits potentially for my lunch.

My second prediction was...

...sort of right and sort of wrong.  He'd fallen asleep by the time I left the room, so that was right but he was awake again by the time I came back in and he decided he wanted a drink and he was firmly asleep by the time I brought the drinks in and he was asleep within seconds of him putting his drink on the table.

He's putting his legs up now, so he'll be in the land of nod before I finish this sentence... yep snoring away before I finished the word 'nod' lol

I'd best put my drining chocolate into the FitBit app and start my daily virus scan running.

Mornin' all

Well, I did put my foot in it last night 'cos I only got to bed about 10 minutes earlier than normal so I've officially given up on having early nights now.

I've already cared for my carer for almost an hour this morning and I'm working overtime as of 7.07pm last night.  I've got a decaff coffee on the go so that'll hopefully heat me up a bit and keep me awake to care for my carer and I've gotta remember to charge up my FitBit later on today so that it keeps on working for me and tracking my steps and sleep.

Gonna use the opportunity of my carer being deeply asleep to take all my pills now.

This next week is gonna be sooo hard for me 'cos today and 6th October are when I lost my twins 26 years ago.  I know some of you will be rolling your eyes, but my twins were my only chance of becoming a mum and I will grieve for them this week and the start of April (their due date) every year for the rest of my life.  I don't need your approval to grieve.  If you need support this week, you'll just have to find it elsewhere - you don't support me so why should I support you?

Gonna set off my daily virus scan while I'm taking my pills, then wait for my delivery of J2O's then make our breakfasts when my carer wakes up for longer than a few seconds at a time.

Wednesday, 28 September 2022

That's reassuring then

Just made a drinking chocolate for me an' 'im, put it into the FitBit app and I've only gotta consume another 285 calories to take me up to the day's entire calorie intake, so the instant soup for lunch and the soya yoghurt for pud should pretty much get me into the green, then a couple more drinking chocolates this afternoon will hopefully see me significantly into the red, calorie-wise, which'll hopefully mean that I've put on more weight when I weigh myself on Monday, then it's just a case of keep piling on the kilo's until NaNo starts and I'll be living on just soup and J2O's until I've completed it.  It's only for 10 days, but ideally a week if I can manage to write 7,200 words a day, like last year.  I'm gonna push myself but not to breaking point - as long as I get 5,000 words written a day then I've earnt the reward and any other words are just a bonus.

This'll be my 12th or 13th year and I've won all of them except my first one, so I know what to expect and what works for me now.  Steve usually shuts up after a couple of days too, but I'm gonna be wearing my headphones permanently (except for bathroom breaks, obviously) and refuse to do answer the phone or door or whatever else until I've finished. It's only 20 days a year, so I don't reckon it's too much to ask not to be disturbed just for those 20 days, right?

My monthly virus scan is at 30% so I reckon it'll be finished at around the 2-3pm kinda mark, then it'll be a couple of hours for the backups, I'll download my email for the first time today, make Steve's tea for him, take my pills and head to bed for the night.

As I think I predicted yesterday, I didn't get an early night after all, same as usual, but it won't stop me from hoping that it'll happen.

Steve actually turned the heating on a tiny bit so it must be cold today 'cos that doesn't usually happen until well after NaNo!

I've just snaffled one of Steve's boring biscuits and put it into my FitBit app so I've only got 224 calories left to eat to take me into the green today, so it should be pretty easy to turn the graph pretty significantly red, even though it's a virus scan and back-up day today.  Tomorrow is gonna be a low calorie day 'cos I've gotta make Steve's lunch so I dunno if I'll be able to stay upright for long enough to make my own too.

There was no news on any of my three sites this morning and I've already sorted out the forumy stuff, so I can spend the day on Facebook and doing surveys today, in amongst caring for my carer.

Gotta remember to go and do the watering at some point today... might check on the wetness of the compost before I fill the jug up with water today though!  😆

Mornin' all

How are you all doing this morning?

I've already taken all my morning pills and cared for my carer for 56 minutes.  I managed an 86 hours and 20 minute week last week, by the time I was allowed to go to bed.

Steve wants his breakfast now and he hasn't put my granola into the jug so it'll be the first meal I'm missing today, if he doesn't cook at lunchtime it'll be my second missed meal and I rarely eat in the evenings, so it looks like today is potentially a low calorie day again.

I've gotta remember to weigh myself and download the FitBit spreadsheet for last week this morning too, so I'd best get cracking on it all now.  Gotta remember to ask Steve to phone up about my Covid booster when my GP surgery opens up too.

The virus scan was still thankfully clear, which is always reassuring and means that I can get on with making Steve's breakfast for him straight away.
