I've only got ¾ of a net curtain covering in my living room window but I've just seen someone putting a ladder up against the house opposite which made me suspicious, so I kept an eye on the man with the ladder and tried to think of how I would describe him to the police.
Then I saw the house owner/tenant coming out and holding the ladder steady which was slightly more reassuring, but I called out to him and asked if everything was OK or if I should call the police and he explained that there had been water coming into his house and the person on the ladder was just assessing and fixing the problem.
Judging by the position of the ladder, his issue seems to be in the same kinda area as mine was a few years ago, which could mean having to get a new roof for at least the front of their house, if not the back too, which could cost a pretty penny if they don't have house insurance!
I'll keep an eye on what's going on, but I'm less concerned now, just more nosey lol
